Has to be the worst ive played yet
Drove and hour and twenty minutes to play here. Lost 12 balls due to the roughs being full of tree limbs and gopher holes. No course maintenence . Its obvious they has to open this up to the public as its a crap hole. I wouldnt come here even to play if it was free
Much better than I was expecting.
My first time here. Staff is personable and polite. There was a lady walking around the pro shop area making sure staff and golfers didn’t need any help. I was very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quality of the golf carts. Hate using carts full of dust, stains and tears. These looked brand new. Items in the pro shop were VERY reasonably priced. Pace of play was very good. I finished 18 in 3 1/2 hours. Impressive. I definitely will come and play here again.
Decent course. Not many other amenities were open.
Was spending the day in town on a work trip so decided to book this course as it was fairly close to our hotel. The price for the round and cart was reasonable but we also needed rental clubs. They had a few sets but none of them were complete. They said people had broken all the drivers. They did still have a few nice clubs in the set including some older but good wedges. The worst part of that though was they charged $35 dollars per set which I thought was outrageous for an incomplete set. The worker was very apologetic and did his best to find me some spare clubs to get a nearly complete set.
The course was pretty good. A nice layout and in fairly good condition though the greens had recently been aerated and sanded.
Lastly the restaurant was closed and there was no beverage cart. There was no way to buy any refreshments for the entire round.
Overall we had fun and would play again if I had my own clubs.
Good layout.
Very disappointed that a disclaimer wasn't on the GolfNow site about the greens.
Usually they have an aeration alert about the course. There wasn't any on their site.
So we drove an hour to play a course where the greens were unputtable. In the future,
everyone should call ahead to find out first hand the condition of the course, especially the greens.
Surprised
Sunday morning tee time. Pro shop staff were friendly. Newer carts were nice and clean. Range mats and balls were worn out but suitable for warm up. Thoroughly impressed with tee box and fairway conditions for this time of year and with the volume of play I witnessed the day I was there. Greens were soft and about the slowest greens I’ve played all year but they were healthy. Once you get used to the speed, they rolled fair. Bunkers were moist and due for a fluff, but there was sand and it was consistent/predictable. Pace of play was not terrible but slowed up like most weekend rounds do. Narrow track offered the shooters some fun shots, and as long as you weren’t going right on the holes that bordered the property, the rough is forgiving and the trees were sporadic and not super low hanging. Push cart friendly course.
Horrible Pace of Play
Get a "Marshall" and hurry things up! Plus, stop letting five-somes play. The greens were not mowed and were sprouting growths. Some of the fairways are beat, the bunkers need work or at least a rake or two and the beverage cart backfires every time it is driven. Sounds like gunshots. I couldn't take it and gave up in the middle of hole 16.
Sand traps
The courses are pretty good conditions think they should offer more summer rates than what they do, The sand traps look nice, but very hard. They use a mat to drag them where they should be using a rake to soften them up.
A Little Water Would Help
The course is a nice track, and even in decent shape, given the heat of the past six weeks. Because the restaurant/snack bar is closed, and because the water fountains don’t work, the club management absolutely needs to put water coolers on the course, at least every four holes.
Great day
Greens in great condition slower than usual. Fairways were also in good/fair condition, pace of play for a Sunday was outstanding!
Great track.
ACC has become my home course. Great and challenging track. Great place to work on course management or just have fun with the guys. Challenging and complex greens protected by bunkers, and I like the back to back par 5 play on the front 9. Bunkers have issues at times, but was told many are collection areas due to natural springs, but they are better when the grounds crew keeps up with them.
Love that there is both a large putting area and separate chipping area to work on your game. Beautiful Mountain Views, definitely a gem for the area
Nice course, slow greens
Not the course for those seeking an escape into nature as the is course just cuts back and forth but great for not losing balls. The driving range hits adjacent to hole 20 without a safety net, and green were slow. But will play here again
