My favorite place to play in San Francisco.
Fro the price, Lincoln can't be beat. The daisies make finding your ball in the fairway difficult at times and the tee boxes are scraggly, but it's a beautiful course with a friendly staff. Love this course.
Terrible Service And Awful Cart Price
First of all the course was 55 dollars to play, which isn’t too much but the course already looked run down. We told the clubhouse manager that we wanted to ride and he charged us 50 dollars per cart, so on top of paying 55 a person we had to pay an extra 50.
Lincoln Park Great Location
Lincoln Park doesn't have great conditions, it has poor conditions, and is expensive for what you get, but the location and views are worth it!
Fun times
Having fun playing here course is in good shape walking is a challenge it’s a little hilly but being SF. They r getting new carts soon
Nice day
It was a nice day to play haven’t played this course I. Over a year fairways need some c and so the greens over grown with weeds. Looks like maintaibsince doesn’t care how the course looks also need more carts for people who play in the morning and afternoon
A good tome
It’s my 4th time playing this course they need to get rid of all the dandies and have only green for both the fairways and the greens . The staff r nice and friendly no carts white sucks the will them soon. And the views r nice si r peoplle playing there
Don't!
Staff was friendly. Some of the views were beautiful. That's where any compliments end.
Off the greens, there was a single cut of the grass at approximately 1.5 inches high, whether you're on a tee box or anywhere until the green. Tee boxes and greens were in rough shape, too.
The course was walking only, which doesn't sound daunting given the 5,000 yards or so, but I can assure you that it is horrendously daunting. 14 holes were uphill. There is a 600 yard walk from the 2nd green to the 3rd tee markers, and another 400+ yard walk from the 5th green to the 6th tee markers.
There are no practice areas, just a simulator to warm up.
I don't mean to sound so negative, but this was (probably) my least favorite course I have played. I wouldn't recommend playing here unless you are very comfortable walking a very uphill course.
An interesting muni with gorgeous views
First time playing Lincoln Park. It was a perfect weather day in SF. I played with my wife and son and we were paired with a friendly single. All of us walked. Lincoln Park is not an easy walk with lots of hills, but we enjoyed getting steps in and cart path only the day we played made it an easy decision not to take a cart. I was pleasantly surprised with course conditions except that greens were pretty rough - “furry” and with lots of bumps and ball marks that were not repaired. There is a lot of distance between some of the greens and next tee box.The craziest thing about this course is the amount of people just walking around. We had a family with 2 little kids walk across a fairway as we were teeing off. The pace of play for a Saturday was remarkably fast. We never waited and never had a group pushing us. I prefer Presidio for a similar style of course in a nearby location, but it’s more than double the price and doesn’t have the gorgeous views of Lincoln Park. I would play this course again, particularly with the Hot Deal price I was able to score.
Hills, History, and Stunning Scenery at Lincoln Park
Played Lincoln Park yesterday and had a great time! This course is a truly unique experience. The location is just amazing – right by the ocean with incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge. It's hard to beat that kind of scenery! Being so close to the Legion of Honor and Lands End adds to the special feeling of the place. What really stood out about the course itself was the terrain. It's quite hilly, which made for a fun and interesting round. The slopes and contours on every hole made it play very differently from any other course I've tried. It kept things engaging and exciting. If you're looking for a course with stunning views and a memorable round, I'd definitely recommend checking out Lincoln Park.
Fairways are pretty lush right now. Greens are a bit thin in places. Really fun round.
Fun Course
Probably one v of the more interesting courses i have ever played. Rolling hills everywhere, so you'll stand up, down and sideways from the ball. The layout allows you to approach the tee box with various clubs. The greens have character and will test your metal.
