Yikes
Yeah Disappointed, the course was not in very good shape. Certainly did not live up to the reviews and expectations. Tee boxes is not good,fairways not good., greens below average
Pace of play horrendous five hours and seven minutes would not play here again
excellent greens
for a course that has often struggled to have good quality greens they were perfect and quite fast making them sometimes quite difficult
Sherwood Sure Wood!
I’ve been playing Sherwood Forest since the 1970’s & still one of my favorite courses to play. Always a challenge but it’s still Winter so course not yet in top shape. Greens were hard & fast but a little bumpy. Overall a nice day of Golf.
Very slow pace
A yellow tee box for seniors should be available. The 6,000 yds white tees is too long for seniors which is causing the slow pace
. I say play!
Fantastic condition. Greens are really good. Course maintenance is much improved from last year.👍
Beautiful Course, Amazing Staff, Pure Bliss!
This course is an absolute gem! The fairways are surrounded with trees, impeccably maintained, and the greens roll true. The layout is challenging but fair, with stunning views that make every hole a pleasure to play. The staff was incredibly friendly,. Can’t wait to come back!
I'll golf here again, but
...I would love to see the greens in better shape. Most were in above average condition, but maybe 5 or 6 were in very "need repair" condition. I remember having to move my ball over in order not put over damaged areas of the green, Overall, a very nice layout with narrow fairways and challenging hazards. It is a public course w/ 7 minutes between T times -- slow play and some waiting at the Tee box is expected -- and at times, there were 3 groups playing on the same hole. Overall -- a B- grade for me.
