Golfer Reviews
LP review
course has improved in most areas, especially the greens and tee boxes.
more rakes are needed around bunkers.
Always fast service at the Pro Shop.
Get new carts
Value is great. Nice layout. Bunkers often are in bad shape with little or no sand. This was the best I’ve ever seen the greens. I always play at 7-8 am so the pace then is obviously good.
Not once have I played there and had a cart that was even close to decent. If partnered with someone else in your cart, forget about it, carts barely move. I’ve changed carts several times at the turn. Those club car relics should be retired
Great Hot Deal rate!
Paid only $12 plus tax + convenience. Course fun and in pretty good shape. Not pristine by any stretch but well worth the price and drive from Bluffton. Only negatives: 1. we were allowed to start early and zoomed through the front nine but heading to 10 all of a sudden three groups were stacked in front of us so we just played the front again, 2. Cart paths in rough shape.
Best Shape Ever
I have played the course many times and must say that it is in the best condition that I have ever seen. Some of the greens still had some small bare areas, but much much less than before. The greens were putting very true and consistent..
Bang for the buck
Paid $30+ for a fruday tee time, while the other courses nearby were charging $60+. Course was a little wer from some recent rains, rendering all the greenside bunkers unplayable. They just dont have enough sand in them a d drainage is poor. Greens were a little bumpy from recent aeration all in all still a good time !!
Keeps getting better
The course is in its best shape in years.
The greens were recently aerated so they were a little rough but they are much better than two weeks ago and given a couple of more weeks, it shouldn’t be noticeable.
Very nice course
You cannot beat this course for the money. Course was in great shape greens were recently aerated and sanded but the putts ran true. Tees and fairways were in good shape. As with other reviews, the sand traps needed rakes and are pretty hard. But for the price on the green fees with a cart and limited play during the week, this is a great course to play. By the way, the restaurant food and staff were A+
Great value
Paid $25 to play Saturday morning - best value within 30 min of Savannah. Really enjoyed the layout. Greens had recently been punched and were still recovering, but were in decent shape. Unfortunately only got to play the front 9 since there was a disc golf tournament on the back 9. Excellent pace of play. Friendly staff and reasonably priced food at the grill. Will definitely be back.
