Excellent Municipal Course
You are not going to find many municipal courses as well kept and challenging as this one. Especially for the price. And lots of improvements have been made including new traps with white sand and a new green on #9. Don’t let the 5900 yards fool you. It pays to hit the fairways with all the trees on the course. Some rolling hills present challenging second and third shots to the greens that can have tough pin placements. Great staff in the Pro Shop that has all the supplies you need to play. Mulligans’s Cafe has delicious food and a reputation that brings non-golfers to enjoy a meal. Hope to see you there.

A great public course. Always fun. The greens had been punched recently and were a bit bumpy. We still had a great day. Course was in great shape otherwise.
Great experience. Friendly staff
We were in town for a quick trip and were able to sneak in a round of golf. We opted for this course since we were carrying a kiddo with us and all of the staff was friendly and welcoming. Pace of play was good with very little waiting, course was in great shape and the weather was perfect.
Nice course dor the price
Santa Barbara golf course is a nice course in the middle of uptown santa barbara. Well manicured fairways and greens. The rough is very playable and most holes you are able to find the the green on errand tee shots. The staff was very friendly and the onsite restaurant has great food.

A great Muni course that despite not being really long, that still requires some thinking and execution to play it well. Course conditions are usually pretty consistent and the views from certain holes are pretty darn nice and the new sand in bunkers really helps with sand play. After a round of golf here, it's nice to be greeted and served by the nice folks at Mulligans which also has some great views and pretty good food and plenty of libations.
Nice layout but rough conditions
Very pretty course. Challenging. Course needs some TLC. Bunkers had puddles and fairways were wet, uncut with no rain in past few days. Pace of play was slow.
No Golf Carts on Rainy Days
When I got to the course light rain started,but you could see blue skies after the brief shower.
Because of the prior three days of rain I was informed that there were No Carts going out.
They gave us a pull cart for are round.
They should give you the option of either playing or some kind of “Rebate for the cart”, we all know that they charge for carts because it benefits the course in making money.
Golfers should get a CREDIT.
great public course
We had a great 4 hr 18 hole round. The course was in good condition considering the play it gets. I only play with a discount as non local fees are above some of the other courses in the area
