Beautiful Course
This was a beautiful course and so far the one that fit our skill level the best. Wide fairways and large greens. This course is immaculate and the staff were awesome. I would probably make this the club we joined but for the distance. Loved playing here and loved the beuty of the course.

Santa Barbara Golf Club is a nice muni course!
As far as muni courses, this is a nice place to play. The driving range isn't much more than a place to warm up. Sure, Santa Barbara has some top courses, but those come at a price! If your on a budget or just want something "low key" and not too challenging, I recommend Santa Barbara Golf Club.
The course was in great shape and it was a great day

Challanging,nice course
Price quoted was for walking,the cart added an additional $34.
Very Playable course
Nicely maintained with well balanced holes that favor average to good golfers. The greens are fast overall. Nice for a City course

Best cost performance in this area.
The Muni is great for the green fee vs. quality. The green is about 10.5 and excellent for municipal golf curse.

Beautiful setting, fairways and greens well manicured and maintained. Better than most!
Centrally located, easy to get to, this course is a must do, if in the area. For a Public, Community Course, it is exceptional. Well Maintained fairways, greens and cart paths. Great food and fast service in the Club House.

This course is a great deal for the money charged. The rate to ride a cart is a little steep, but walking is a breeze.

Nice Public Operation
Santa Barbara GC, being in the middle of Santa Barbara has some natural advantages. The course and concession are almost always busy. Most recently played a club outing on 8/16/12 but I've played there 3-4 times each of the last 3+ years. The course is friendly for most abilities and generally well kept up. Same for the greens though i never seem to put well there. I'd rate it just fair because the other near by public options are better, especially if you walk. Both Ventura and Ojai munis are easier to walk and IMO more interesting courses to play. If you're riding, Glen Annie is minutes from Santa Barbara GC has more of everything the golfer wants and better value.
Great Value
This course is great for intermediate golfers who don't want to spend too much money. The course is probably the best maintained public courses I've played on. I'll definitely play there every time I go to Santa Barbara.

Course in good shape
Greens were quick, rolled true. Fairways in good shape, guess having it rain more than once a year will do that. We used golf now & played for pretty cheap. Dude in pro shop is a trip, may need to up his meds a lil.
