Pretty nice pace for 9 hole course on a weekend.

I love golfing Pruneridge because it's close, fast, and has all the practice amenities you need to improve your game.

Nice Little Course

I met Ronnie Lott 28 years ago when I hit a ball too far on the 5th hole at Pruneridge Golf and it hit his condominium's roof and it trickled down into his backyard. When I looked for my ball there he was 'Basking' in the Sun'!!! I talked to him for 20 min and then I went to my Little League Practice later that day and told my kids whom I had met. I let them know where he lived and told them to go and sell him some Little League Candy. So a couple of brothers did so and he gave them 50-yardline tickets! Their Father passed away that summer and Ronnie came to his funeral. As the two boys grew up they helped Ronnie with his Charity in San Jose, then when Ronnie retired they went to his Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony!!! I never saw Ronnie Lott again but I will NEVER FORGET HIM because HE IS A GREAT GUY !!! Who happened to live right next to the 5th Green at PRUNERIDGE GOLF COURSE which is a Great Little Course to Hone Your Skills !!!!!

Good 9 holes and for $5-9 with hot deals, you can't beat it

Pruneridge is the "best bang for your buck" 9 hole course in the San Jose area. It has three par 4s, and most of the par 3s have narrow fairways and trees to avoid which keep it interesting. While the greens aren't perfect (and are mostly straight forward) they are in decent condition. Some warning: as of the end of October the first 5 holes were being aerated.

Greens are quick and in good shape.

For a 9 hole course Pruneridge is a great value. The greens are rolling quick and the fairways are maintained. Overhanging trees can still affect your mental game if you let them.

Sprinklers were on in the fairway on 4. Greens needs help, bad... Won't be back.

The night manager swore at me and hung up on me when I called to ask about changing a tee time. They charge to use their chipping area. Mud and standing water in fairways. Sprinklers were on... All in all, horrible experience. I won't be back!

Pruneridge is Pruneridge

Not too many 9-hole par 3 courses around. This place gets the job done but it's nothing to write home about. Was a lot better when we played for free during college!

This course is wonderful

The course is well maintained. The holes are challenging. I wouldn't mind playing there again. It's a short course but challenging. This course will practice your capability for irons and short game?

Nice 9 hole course. Not worth $22 regular rate

Pruneridge is a nice little par 30 track. It's always in good shape and you play it in about 1.5 hrs. There are a couple of tee shots with strategically placed trees that make you think. It's a nice little course and a good deal if you can play for $15 or less, but i would never pay the $22 regular rate.

Course in dire need of overhaul. Fairways hard as asphalt and void of grass in many spots

Simple course. Bad conditions. For the money I'd rather play front 9 at Los Lagos - more of a challenge and way better condition.

Bad Experience

Normall this course is okay. Witht the discount through golfnow, it's okay. I would not pay full price to play this course. The last time we played, the holes were punched, but the flags were not put in the first 2 holes. The greens were terrible.

good course, bad pace

Went off on time, go to hole three, there were nine people waiting to tee off! Foursome, threesome, pair. While waiting, another pair came up. Need marshal to keep pace moving, get pairs to join each other. Marshal with beer cart hung out at first hole, before people got thirsty.
If I go again, it won't be middle of the day on the weekend. Course was well kept, but flat and easy. Good for beginners. Nice pro shop.

Very Fast Course, Great Driving Range, Expert Club Fitting

Diamond in the rough. This course is "local", easy to get to. Early play is super fast. Greens are in mint condition, traps are well maintained, tee boxes are moved and reseeded probably daily. The course is well watered, no hard pan. Fairways give the ball good lies. Yardages are well marked on sprinkler heads-no need for GPS-this course plays the way GOLF was intended to play. The rough is well defined and cut to a fair length, no lost balls in the rough, no gorilla grass. The driving range is double decker, open fairly late at night, too. Expert club fitting, video swing analysis. Pruneridge also has a nice Food & Beverage area with seating both indoors and outside, reasonable prices and nice selections.

Decent Value for decent 9 hole

Moderately challenging 9 hole with three par 4 holes. Decent course conditions but beware of a consistent slowdown in play if your start your round after 11:30ish

9 Hole Course

Easy walking course. No water hazards, well kept greens and bunkers. Rough is kept at a reasonable height. Small Pro Shop with re-gripping capability. Small coffee shop to grab a quick bite to eat or drink. Practice Putting green & driving range. Look forward to playing it again.

Expensive for what it is.

Most courses in the Silicon Valley are way overpriced. This 9hole course is no exception. Worth only playing if you get a "hot deal" off golfnow.
Corse itself is in good shape. Although not very challenging. It's good for a practice round.

It is a good chip and put course.

It was an inexpensive 2 plus hours to play nine holes on a Saturday afternoon. It's a good place to practice the short game and putting.
