Bennett Valley Golf Course

I am used to playing in the Sacramento area where the fairways and greens are all brown so in my opinion this is a beautiful course! I thought this course had a little of everything. Some challenging areas and some easy which made for a fun round of golf. Its a 1.5 hour drive from my house and I am going back tomorrow for the second time in a week!

Bennett Valley is a fun course to play, and located in a beautiful setting. The people are very friendly, and with Legend's restaurant/sports bar adjacent to the club house, makes for great entertainment.

My local home course. Aside from getting soggy in the winter months, always kept in good condition and a great value.

Beautiful tree lined holes. Well marked and in good condition. Average size greens also well maintained. Poor drainage; two days
after rains and still extremely wet. Price was right thanks to golfnow.

Only thing was the 5 hour, slow round.
But, we would play again.

This is a good course. Greens are good, consistent but not great. Mature trees between fairways makes misplayed drives a little challenging but not OB. Perimeter OB and creek through several holes adds more challenge. I like the layout. Nice people very accommodating.

The pace is slow. The waiting skews playing moment. Otherwise the atmosphere is nice and user friendly. It is good when there's special rates.

Bennett Valley offers the most bang for your golf buck.Rolling
hills,oak and pine lined fairways,gentle creek beds add to the
Sonoma county ambiance. Remade greens now roll very true.
Fairways ,rough,and tees are well maintained.
Wonderful driving range has quality hitting mats as well as turf hitting areas and the putting green is like the real greens.
New club house has all the essentials.Full service pro shop.
Better than average resturant.
Green fees,cart fees, best on the north coast.
Most kid,novice friendly,golf facility. Teaching staff very generous with their time with juniors.

good greens great value altough pace of pace can be slow due to fivesomes

The Greens are fast and well maintained. The course itself is beautiful. I would have enjoyed coming here to play during an off peak time. We went Monday at noon and they paired my twosome up with another twosome. We both had carts but we were put directly behind a walking fivesome. It got really backed up at the 6th hole. We had to wait a good half an hour while three other parties were waiting to tee off.

Bennett Valley golf course is a great course to play. Enjoyed the day and will be going back soon.

We always enjoy playing this couse, challanging and diversitied.

Hazards make it interesting for having to lay it up on certain holes.

THe restaurant is always fun to visit afterwards for a meal and drink also.

Overbooked ! Many walkers and some 5 person groups! Teed off 45 minutes late!! Called off course at 7:15 after completing just 16 holes in5 hours exactly!!! Would have taken 6 plus hours to complete 18 if peopled had not quit the course!!!!!! There excuse was they got behind to start morning!!! NO starter NO marshall that was observed!!! Only plus polite drink cart woman who came by at least 4 times!!! This review was for saturday October 20 2012

Very fine operation staff is very friendly and great price! Friday slow play.

I enjoy playing this course. It is well kept with pretty consistant greens. Play pace on bennett valley is generaly fairly slow do to the number of people who enjoy the course.

This has to be as well managed and well kept a muni course as there is. Friendly staff who do a great job keeping course in top condition even though a lot of rounds are played.
