Awesome as always!
The course was beautiful as always, now that they re-opened the restaurant and you can get great meal and a cold beer again it was a great experience!
There aren't any cart people out and about so load up on drinks before you head out
Beautiful soggy course
I would recommend the course after it has a chance to dry out. Greens and bunkers were in good shape, but fairways very soggy. Lost several ball which were hit in fairways.
Play when it’s dry
A great course. Winter play suffers because of the lack of drainage. I have played this course since 1971 and worked as a greens keeper and the shop. It is still the same. ,
Employees
Kept being rushed by many employees to play when we we playing at average pace. We are not the greatest players, but we weren’t that slow. Forced us to basically sit behind a group and skip holes by following through. Only played 1.5 holes because of the rushing. Payed 145 dollars for 3 people to play less than 2 holes and then we are told no refund. Absolutely forcing us off the course. Save your money
Just real muddy
Not the best drainage but great price excellent except for the water to much rain lately so unless you like playing in mud wait until it’s dried out then best course in Santa Rosa probably 2nd best in Sonoma County price wise staff wise course set up pace of play can be a little slow but who’s in a hurry when your not working
pleasantly surprised by good pace of play - may have been weather ....
Past experience, pace of play was awful - 5 hour rounds. This past Saturday, the pace was good. Many walkers, but got in a 4 hour round - which is a bit high, but much better than 5 hours.
It was a very cool day - so weather may have played a factor - but it was better.
Course layout is good as always. Conditions are good.
Not a fan of the surprise $2 per round that is tacked on when you checkin. BUILD this into the course fee please.
Great Course
I'm an advanced beginner and play from the forward tees. The course is the perfect length for me and is appropriately challenging. I've played here several times and the course is always in good condition. One of my favorites!
Greens aerated
Greens recently aerated. Getting better but still dimpled and sanding.
The staff scheduled large group of 8 for 1 tee time in front of us vs splitting them into 2 separate tee times. This was annoying because they slowed the pace a lot. Groups larger than 4 should not be allowed
Also, the group behind us had 2 small kids and a dog riding around with them in the cart. 6 people and a dog on 1 cart. I was worried about the kids running around and getting hit by a ball. I would think a huge liability issue for the golf course.
Fast green and a decent layout. Tee boxes need to be flattened and fairways are getting very dry. But good price.
The greens have been punched the day before I was not notified played the front nine twice because they were punching the back and it was terrible
Fun day
Enjoyed a beautiful day with friends. Finished the front nine in under 2 hours, caught up with a few groups on the back nine but still played in about 4 hours
