Sea Palms Golf and Tennis Resort offers 27 holes of golf that are interlaced with the stands of majestic live oaks that form ribbons across the landscape. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. Named after the densely forested landscape, the Tall Pines/Great Oaks combination will test your accuracy. In addition to the trees, sparkling blue lagoons are situated throughout the course and they provide more than just scenic respite. Golfers should be prepared for some tricky forced carries. There are some challenging holes at Sea Palms but overall, its playability is what makes it popular amongst all skill levels. There is also a practice area with a driving range and chipping and putting greens.

Fee that was stated on golf now and what the course wanted was different

Arrived at the course but didn’t play. The man behind the counter, Steve, stated that I owed more than my golf now app showed that I owed. He said I owed taxes on top of the $60 my app showed that I owed the course. I left on principle. After I was outside he came out and wanted to make amends by saying he would just charge me $60, but continued to point out that I was wrong. He needs

to take public relations course 101.

Sea Palms

Really like this course! Tee to green is fairly easy, but greens are challenging! Love these greens. Not a flat spot anywhere!

Worst Customer Service Ever

Playing here was the worst golf experiences I have ever had, because of the customer services. I will never come to this golf course again, and I will tell everyone that I know to never come to this golf course. The staff not only was rude and condescending, but the Golf Pro actually yelled at me for a misunderstanding.

I was attending my sister's wedding at Sea Palms and my family, the groom, and groomsmen all went to play golf the morning of the wedding. I was told that we had 3 groups set up for that morning. I was running a little bit behind schedule and showed up when most of the people in our party were getting in their carts. As I was walking up with my clubs, a gentleman from the shop said "I know you're not wanting to walking! Here is a cart." Based off that comment, I assumed that my family must have already paid for the play and that it was all settled. I took the cart and met my family members at the first hole and started to play with one group of 5 and two groups of 4.

It wasn't until the middle of the first 9 when I realized that they had not paid for my play, so when we were finished with the first 9, I planned to pay. We then arrived at the 8th hole, and someone with a cart is sitting at the hole watching us. He comes over to our group saying "How did this all start? Because I know it didn't start with 5." We informed him that it did start with 5 and that we were unaware that this was something that they were very strict about. We were playing very quickly and not wasting anytime at all since we had to start getting ready for the wedding at 12. He informed us that someone had also not paid for the play. We then said that we would split the play up 3 and 2 and I would pay for the play once we got past the 9th hole. During the whole interaction, the employee had a very condescending tone and was not respectful to us as customers.

We finished the 9th hole, and I went to go pay for the first 9 and then the next round. As I am pulling up to the shop, the Golf Pro is standing outside and starts yelling at me for playing with 5 players. At first, I was taken back and told him that I was coming to pay for the round (as I thought that was more important), but he kept yelling saying "We don't play 5 here! There is no way that we allowed that!" I then start to get angry and am yelling back at the Golf Pro, because I felt very disrespected. I kept trying to tell the Golf Pro that I was going to pay for the 9 holes and that we were not going to pay with 5 any longer, but he kept telling me "It's not about the money! We don't need your money!" This was equally as frustrating, because the comments were coming from a place of pride and thinking higher of himself than me. By this point, a few of my female family members (including a child) were surrounding us and the Golf Pro realized that he was creating a scene. I angerly insisted further that I wanted to pay for what I had played and that I would not be continuing with the last 9 holes, because of what had happen. I went inside and paid for my play.

For someone to start yelling at me, without even asking me about the situation or clarifying if I was apart of the situation, was one of the worst customer experience I had ever experienced. I will make sure that this review goes up on every site that I can find, and I will tell everyone I know about this experience.

Sea Palms golf and country club

I’ve been playing for a year now and so far Sea palms is the best course that I have ever played. The layout was excellent, as well as the staff. It was easy easy to navigate the course without a map.The cart paths were in a excellent condition As was the ride was smooth and comfortable. I would recommend this course to anyone and I will most certainly play there again soon. I was nervous upon first arriving but when I Settled into the course it was fantastic as well was pace of play. Five stars all the way, way to go Sea Palms.

EXCELLENT VALUE for Play…

I came across an INSANE deal on one of the golf apps so the cost was well worth the round. Most of the holes were in great shape with a few boxes needing some attention and a couple greens were bumpy. The carts are very comfortable with cushy seats, not your typical cart seating. Staff was super friendly. There is a ‘beverage-cart’. At normal pricing this course is out of my range, but would love to play this course again. Bathrooms on the course were clean. My biggest complaint is the 9th hole being a Par 3 with a huge water hazard. No one wants to end the front with that hole, LOL! Overall the course is open, fun, and yet challenging. I’m not a great golfer by any means and this was my first time playing and shot a 101. Great scenary to look at on your ride.

***Bonus note, the restaurant opens at 11am so at the turn if you tee’d off early you’ll have to settle on what sandwiches/wraps and snacks the Pro Shop has.
