Nice course
Keep the ball in play here. The greens were in nice condition but a little soft and because of this there is quite a bit of damage from ball marks. The trees have been trimmed nicely and the course was in overall good condition.
Challenging golf
It is a narrow golf course with sloppy greens. If you can drive straight of the tee, then you can take on the course with ease.
challenging but fun
The greens were aerated on Monday September 21st, so they were a little bumpy, but the green fee was discounted about 50%. Course is otherwise in very good shape. Pace of play was excellent, we played as a 2-some riding and finished in just over 3 hours. Premium for putting the ball in the fairway off the tee as several holes are tree-lined, and has 6 long par fours.
A fun outing
Although the greens had been recently aerated the course overall was in very good condition. The trac played fair and pace of play was excellent.

This is a very challenging course for the average golfer. Being semi-private, some members still act like it's still just their private course!!
Elkhorn
Good course with good greens. Most holes are defined by trees. Several short risk reward par 4's-
I hate 5somes
Course was fun. Too bad we were a twosome stuck behind a five some of players who didn't care that they were holding everyone up. I miss the days when groups were only 4.
Good course, poor bunkers
Played here several times, very friendly staff, great traditional layout, overall really good condition except for the lack of maintenance on the bunkers.
Above Par
This course is one of Stockton's pleasant surprises. It is very well maintained and enough of a challenge to make it interesting, but not so difficult to discourage the weekend golfer. Bang for the buck is unmatched in the area. Very good beverage prices and a wonderful clubhouse cafeteria. The only dun I have is that they have sprinklers on in the middle of the fairways during peak play hours. Had to make a mad dash to retrieve balls in the rain pattern.
Narrow fairways and tee boxes
Slow play, better be able to hit it straight. No room for error!
Decent course
Ball placement on the greens are crucial, stay below the hole. 4 1/2 hour round.
A new outing
I have always wanted to play this course. Now that it is open to the public, do yourself a favor and enjoy the beauty. Some trees, so don't get yourself in trouble.
Good Round
Good Course. Flat so it is easy to walk. A couple of interesting holes and some bland holes. Greens/Fairways/Bunkers are in good shape. Will play it again.
Awesome course
Beautiful course, fairways are narrow,so it's a good challenge. The course is in excellent shape, the greens roll true and fast. The staff is wonderful and the food is good.

Course was in great shape, right fairways which made a bit challenging but will come back try play again. The only negative thing was the pin placement was tough on the course all were located onslanted areas but I'll stop complaining, I'll be back.

we play first 9 holes 2hs 10 min. went to club house
maybe 5 mins. the pro shop let at least 3 three somes
cut in front of us!!! WE (me a my partner & other two
quit after # 14. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. I am very

The course has narrow fairways and curving greens.
We enjoyed the course. However the driving range is irons only. The putting greens were very slow and the course greens were very fast on the day that we played. Therefore it took a while to get the speed of the greens down.
