About
Nestled in the foothills of the Conejo Valley, Los Robles Greens Golf Course is less than 40 miles from L.A. but feels much further thanks to the beautiful mountain surroundings. It sits at 900 feet above sea level and tumbles across a variety of elevation changes. The towering, mature oaks that line the fairways characterize the course. The diverse layout offers both wide and narrow fairways, water hazards, and thick cuts of rough. The undulating greens are also lightning fast. The course is a fair challenge but still gentle enough to appeal to a range of skill levels. Although it is a public golf course, the beautiful setting and excellent course conditions gives Los Robles Greens the feel of a private club, which makes it a great value for the price.

Nice course pace of play all ok
Will play here again, nice course, especially for a muni.
Good For The Money
Good course for the money! Fun to play, not to hard but has some challenging features. During the heavier traffic times it would be nice if they would restrict the number of walker as they tend to really slow things down. Otherwise, a great little course to play, nice scenery, and niece people!
Good Course and enough challenge to make it fun.
The course was in very good condition and the pace of play was very comfortable for the threesome the starter put together. The greens appeared to have been aerated in the past few weeks, but they were well on their way to healing up. I arrived at the course a bit early and the Pro Shop did all they could to get me out on the course a little bit ahead of my scheduled, mid-day tee-time. I enjoyed the day. Did not use my driver too often here, since accuracy was much more important than distance to shoot a good score here. Will go back!
Great course for the price
My girlfriends favorite course. I play this as often as I can when the price is right. We played this course on Easter so it was wide open. Perfect weather, great location, friendly staff and well kept greens. I would recommend this course if you can get out there.
April 7, 2017
First time playing this course. Very nice facilities and friendly staff. This course plays 6000 yds from the blue tees. Carts are equipped with gps. Pace of play on this Saturday was very good until the turn (2 groups jumped in front of us) then a wait at every hole on the back 9.
Greens were aerated a few weeks ago and should be smooth in 2 more weeks. Snack/beverage car was available throughout the entire 18 holes.
I'll be back!
Going Downhill
I like Los Robles generally...in my last three rounds I find the course to have some issues; from the changes on the course to the foodservice, I find that the value and experience are suffering. The changes to make the course harder involves more traps, deeper traps and useless plants inside the traps that make no sense for speed of play. Slow play made a 5-1/2 hour round seem like 6-1/2 hours...I got a good deal last time on Golf Now but I heard that the new green fee for 18 holes on weekends is $72.00 which is way over-priced for this venue. Won't be going back anytime soon.
Long and the short of it
It's not a long course (par 70) but the round took quite a loooooooooong time. Get a Marshall out there!!
The course is gorgeous...the weather was perfect, and the wait at every SHOT was excrutiating!
There's a huge push to speed the game up these days... Please get someone out there. Two warnings before you are asked to pick up your ball or leave or SOMETHING!
Reconstructed, and in great condition.
The end of the drought. and major refurbishment has transformed this lovely course. The fairways are lush and the greens near perfect. New drought tolerant Brown areas with new plantings of drought resistant plants have bedded in well. Many of the bunkers have been completely reconstructed, and are best avoided because they are deep with steep sides, and the sand is rather powdery. Not easy to get in and out of the of for the older golfer! This course is a great test of golf and practice facilities are first class. A lot of thought has gone into getting things right here.
Nice course
Played from the whites with 3 locals made it easy they were able to keep let me know where I should miss. The greens were fast in comparison my course . Lots of undulations. There was a lot of maintenance going on and the pace of play was slow. The weather made up for it .
Bee problem.
We were swarmed by tens on thousands of bees at hole 13. It was like a 50 foot cloud. Found out from staff they had a similar problem the day or two earlier. They need to take this more seriously and hire a professional to take care of the problem. We were stung multiple times it was not to serious enough but could have turned out much worse.
Nice track
nice track and makes you shape shots! good greens with a lot of subtle breaks!
Very long day
I grew up playing this course but stopped playing years ago because it took to long to get through a round. I found a "Hot Deal" through the website so decided to play. I checked in as a single 20 mins before my 10:48 tee time. I was informed they were runnning 20 mins late. I got off with another twosome sandwiched between a foursome and twosome around 11:10. We waited on every hole and at 3:30 we had played through 12 holes. I left. Tee times are 6 mins apart so it's a typical muni course that tries to get as many people ($$$$) through the course on any given day. Will not play again.
All golfers know Saturdays are busy in the Los Angeles area.
