Played this course on a Sunday morning. It is a challenging, hilly layout with lots of trouble from canyons and native areas. Arrived to find out cart path only. Would have been nice to know when I booked the day before as the course is a difficult walk. . Also, seats on all carts were ripped and frayed. Fairways and tee boxes in poor shape. Pace of play was slow, but understandable with cart path only. The best thing about the course was the greens. Fast and rolled true. Could be outstanding course if course condition was better. Paid $70, so ok value, but not worth more than that.

Great Course and Layout

Hiddenbrooke, is an excellent course and layout. Its an upper echelon public course with a challenging layout, in very good condition and not overcrowded. Better course than other in area like Rancho Solano, Paradise Valley, Chardonnay, Eagle Vines and Blue Rock. On weekends a little more expensive but well worth it in terms of pace of place and almost every hole is secluded.

No staff

Came for a morning round and the pro shop was closed. A random employee told us to tee off on hole 10 and to “pay later”. People were co fixed so all the early spots started late. Not fun.

Golfers made it but staff didn’t

No one was in the pro shop for check in at 8am. All the morning groups were delayed because we didn’t know what to do.

Course was in rough shape, bunkers were unattended and never saw a Marshall. Not a good day.

Staff forgot to show up today

What the heck happened?? We showed up 7ish for a morning reservation, but the pro shop was dark. Confusion ensued then we were told we could start on the back 9. We arrive at #10 five minutes early and there were THREE groups waiting to tee off. Needless to say, our round started almost 20 minutes late and the course was jammed up before 8am!

An hour in, staff came to us and asked us to pay AT THE TURN! Total madness for what should’ve been an easy, smooth, early morning round.

Plus the course was completely unattended and still soaking wet from rain 3 days earlier. Would not recommend.
