About
Located just south of the airport, Van Nuys Golf Course has a unique location that provides an air show with anything from WWII Warbirds to F16 Falcons. It can be loud occasionally, but it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are two golf courses available, an 18-hole par-3 course and a nine-hole executive course. Neither of the courses are terribly formidable, but it's a great spot for getting in some practice. It's ideal for beginners but golf enthusiasts of any skill level will appreciate that the facility stays open late and both golf courses and the driving range are equipped with lights. The Van Nuys par-3 course offers good short game practice. There are a few bunkers and some strategically placed palm trees, but it's a very user-friendly golf course overall. It's even gentle enough for juniors.

Bad form
Booking tee times for 6 am when the course doesn’t open till 6:30. Wasted 45 min sitting in the parking lot. Attendant opened 5 min late, didn’t hit the course till 6:45.
Not bad
It was easy to play out. You’re on your own after paying. Lots of mat tees. Fairways dry vegetation but greens in good condition. Great short game practice course
Course could use some care
We golfed the Executive 9 holes on Memorial Day, starting about 6:15pm. It was ok, but here's honesty and reality, in case anyone who manages the course or something might take notice, wake up, etc.
- Dog dung and trash on the fairways
- The course map is not real helpful, very tiny pictures of where the flag is on some holes; and we had to ask people, and wander sometimes .... looking for the T-off location of the next hole. Some of the Signs were hidden by overgrown tree branches, or just not there...

Little too much leafs on the course today!
I love coming to this course which is pretty close to where I live. I played the 3par 18 hole today and did not have a great game game wise :-0 Im not an expert in any way, but +16 is not great. It was a little windy, but temperature was great and I had a nice walk :-) It was a little too much leafs on the course today, but will be back soon.
Everyday I go I keep getting better and better and having a great time enjoying every minute of it

Overall a great course which har both par 3's and par 4's ;-)
This is a great course close to my neighborhood and I'm very happy about it :-) The 18 hole par 3 and the 9 par 3and 4's executive is great in both ways and I play them both. The executive make use of the driver, which is valuable if you want to go to the longer courses and stay ON your game!
I have been playing here for a few years and the greens are almost always great and in good shape!

Great course for keeping your game on
They have a 18 hole 3par course which is great to keep your short game at a peak. Holes from 95 to 140 yards.
The 9 hole executive course is great because its an opportunity to also work on your driving shots. 6 of the holes is from 100 to 145 years and the 3 others is from 270 to 330 yards.
You want be disappointed!
