Eighteen Hole at Van Nuys Golf Course

About
Located just south of the airport, Van Nuys Golf Course has a unique location that provides an air show with anything from WWII Warbirds to F16 Falcons. It can be loud occasionally, but it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are two golf courses available, an 18-hole par-3 course and a nine-hole executive course. Neither of the courses are terribly formidable, but it's a great spot for getting in some practice. It's ideal for beginners but golf enthusiasts of any skill level will appreciate that the facility stays open late and both golf courses and the driving range are equipped with lights. The Van Nuys par-3 course offers good short game practice. There are a few bunkers and some strategically placed palm trees, but it's a very user-friendly golf course overall. It's even gentle enough for juniors.

Blah course that is crowded on the weekends
For those who play a fair amount of golf this course is a waste of time. It is not even a good place to work on your short game as the greens aren't usually in good condition and there aren't many tricky hazards to test pitching or chipping skills.
Great neighborhood 9 hole par 30 course with 3 par 4's
I Play here as often as I can. It can be crowded in the weekends, but if you have a chance to play on a weekday, I would definitely recommend it! The greens are in good shape and it is only walkable, which is no problem!
I will be back soon!
Fine To Play
Look, is it the best? No. Is it the nicest? No. Is it golf? Yes! It’s cheap, it’s easy, and you can play. That being said, it’s worth driving a little bit further for a better time. There’s no golf carts, the course is super tight, not a lot of great golfers, there is an airport right next to it so it’s very loud, but it’s golf.
Awful
Seriously don't like to give bad reviews but this course had nothing to say good about it. The tee boxes are rock hard mats and even the forward tees are dirt. There are barely any signs which leads to confusion if you've never been there. This is more of a course for small kids learning how to play.
Course is ok.
Me and my buddy were wet because the sprinkler system was operating during my round. Also some gas smell from the airport.
good course
a good challenging course Not kept up well as far as the grass. Needs new seed planting.
Cheap, not in the best shape.
Greens need some work and it's not the prettiest course in the world, but it's good for practicing your short game and get some approach/wedge action going.
Pace of play would be excellent if I didn't feel like people randomly sort of jump in on certain holes and create waiting time out of nowhere.
All bad
1st time playing was on a golf resort, so I guess I'm spoiled....because this is the worst course I've ever seen. Patches and large holes in the ground, not being able to determine where the fairway is, etc. It's all bad. My instructor told me most LA municipal courses are like this. I'll stick to the resorts if that's the case.
