Located just south of the airport, Van Nuys Golf Course has a unique location that provides an air show with anything from WWII Warbirds to F16 Falcons. It can be loud occasionally, but it's also one of the most affordable rounds in the area. There are two golf courses available, an 18-hole par-3 course and a nine-hole executive course. Neither of the courses are terribly formidable, but it's a great spot for getting in some practice. It's ideal for beginners but golf enthusiasts of any skill level will appreciate that the facility stays open late and both golf courses and the driving range are equipped with lights. The Van Nuys par-3 course offers good short game practice. There are a few bunkers and some strategically placed palm trees, but it's a very user-friendly golf course overall. It's even gentle enough for juniors.

Course was extremely backlogged and tee times don't really exist, even if you book one. It's first come first served, which wasn't great.
Great little course for practicing your short game
Great little course for practicing your short game. Greens are well-kept and challenging. Fairways are somewhat rugged but this just helps you polish for chipping on a larger course. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful.
I had a group of 9 people in front of me and they don’t let you pass!
I like the course, but they should not allow 9 people in a group. They should at least make you pass!
Great local course for your practice on your par 3 game!
We had a good time playing here again as always! The greens are pretty nice on this course, which is nice! There is always groups that takes way too long! They should know or the staff should let them know that they could pass through players if they are on their back for several holes! Also, some people just need to learn behaviors on the course. Throwing beer cans and garbage on the field…come on!! I also see that people just not repairing the greens if they hit it, that should be of everyone’s interest!
I will be back in full force though!
Reasonably priced for beginner golfers.
This course remains in good condition over the years. It’s a nice little course for beginners. Green fees are super affordable when you book through GolfNow. I don’t mind playing here when I go out with my son and nephew who are relative beginners.

Great 18 hole 3 par in the neighborhood!
Great course for beginners and who wants to work on their par 3 shots. Holes are from 90 to 135yards.
I will be back again for sure!
Horrible!
First of all the tees are mats. They are worn down old mats. The fairways are mostly dirt. The one plus is the the greens are great! You just go through horrible conditions to her there. Total junk show!
I love this neighborhood course
I will definitely recommend this course to everyone which will give you 3 par 4’s so you can practice your driver too! The greens are in great shape. Very easy Lay-out and the course is open and fairly easy, but would say it’s good for everyone!
It’s a great deal! The staff is the best and really enjoy coming back time after time!
If you are up for a 18 hole 3 par, they have that too at the same location and I like both of the Course's!

Had a great fun and easy day. Pace of play was good, a first come first serve approach to tee times regards of using online book like GolfNow.

It’s a great little course that’s kept up pretty well.
Van nuys good for beginners.
Friendly wide open par 3s. Good place to learn. Grass is spotty around the greens but it’s not too too bad. No real tee boxes and the mats are 100 years old. Need replacing ASAP. Some of the cups could do with replacing as well. They won’t even hold the flag straight. Quick little short game round was fun. Greens very decent considering.
