Super nice course, excellent condition, challenging, but not too difficult.
MGA Fifth Tuesday
The course is in excellent shape - bermuda greens, fairways and rough. Fairways rolled nicely and the greens were moderately fast. The heat was mitigated by some nice breezes but had to be aware and adjust for the wind.
Great Round
Sapelo is always a fun round and this was no different. Course was in great shape. They trimmed the Bermuda around the greens making missing the green less penile. The greens were a little slow but very smooth. Fairways and tees were great and don’t have even a tiny negative to say.. I brought a friend for his first time and he said he’d be returning as well.

Played it two weeks ago and they had sand on the greens, but today greens were super. The views on the course were beautiful. A must play course. Its a little out of the way but worth the drive

We were treated very well They treat you to bring you back.It is such a beautiful course and it challenges you. I will come back again and again
Great time
I played this course a year ago and they have made major improvements from then to now! The only issue I had was that there was sand on all greens, but in a couple weeks they should be in great shape. The fairways were beautiful and the only thing that was better was the views of the coast lines. It has to be one of the most beautiful courses I have played!! I will be back soon

Never been here when it was crowded. I was shocked at how nice the course was compared to others in the area.
Nice place
Great deal on Golfnow for $20. Course was in excellent shape.......greens were good , there were some bare spots in the fairways but nothing you couldn’t work around. Super neat layout and the views of the Marsh was incredible.
Great course layout. Each set of tees makes this course a challenge for all skill levels! Great course Great staff! A Gem !
Scenic
Off the beaten track but well worth it. 8 is a great hole. Loved the course but bring a couple extra balls

Tee to green....If you scored poorly it wasn't course conditions.....Played tips very challenging. Especiaaly #9. Didn't make the clearing. Greens were receptive and rolled true. Nice layout and par 3's
Hidden Gem
First time playing this course. Took about an hour to drive there from Savannah. Greens were aerated and sanded within the past week so putting was a challenge. Otherwise, course conditions were great. Fairways and tee boxes are in great shape. This is just a wonderful layout and really scenic on the marshes and tidal creeks. We will definately come back. Have friends that will visit in the fall and we will bring them down here for a round. They’ll love it too.
Beautiful Course in Great Condition!
We have played Sapelo Hammock numerous times even though it involves a nearly 2 hour drive. -- we love this course!
The greens are in perfect condition; the course invokes playing around spectacular marsh scenery -- the course is never boring.
Good course to play
My wife and I played this course. it was a good course. fairways and greens we’re in good condition and the staff was very friendly. The cart path is one that is all dirt throughout the course but that really doesn’t matter to many golfers. the pacing was great, but probably due to the heat, there were not many golfers out, but we enjoyed it. it was relaxing and hot, heat index- 103! we would play this course again We bought our round on GolfNow which allowed us to play for approximately $65 altogether which is probably the max that I would pay to play this course.

Wonderful course highly recommend this to any golfer that enjoys a great layout. I played early in the morning so it had not gotten very hot out. Staff excellent and helpful.
Beautiful golf course
I have been fortunate enough to play many different high end golf courses all over the USA and I must say Sapelo Hammock is one of the most beautiful courses I have ever played. Now some of the high end courses have a little nicer fairways but the greens at this course is as good as any plus the cost is one third the price of theses high end courses.. it’s a real gem that is a must play .
