Candlewood Country Club

Was a great little course. Everything was in great condition. Had a great day, no waits and course was completely open. Tee time was @1210

This is listed as a country club experience and all these rules but not even close to a CC experience. We did finish in 3.75 hours so the pace is good

Not as picturesque as Coure d’Alene or Pebble Beach, but in just as good of shape! Playing in Southern California, I’ve gotten used to some really bare fairways and rough so tall I have trouble finding my ball. But today was a delight.

And though I’m not a member, I really liked the way I was treated by everyone I came in contact with, especially Brandon (please Lord, let me have remembered that right!) in the pro shop, even if he did have trouble finding my GNow res.

Candelwood Country club is well maintained and staff is outstanding. I would recommend this course to anyone that plays in the 80,s

Layout was challenging. Don’t let the lack of length fool you. Greens were in great shape. Rolled true and fast. Held on iron shots. Fairways were a bit thick. Didn’t see them being cut till i was on the 15th hole.

Great course with a very fun layout! The staff is friendly and the greens run well, what more do you want?

Also... A four hour round on a weekend.

Loved the course layout. A good challenge. Definitely I will play it again. The staff is very friendly. Golf shop has a good selection of clothing available for sale.

IF you like it snug, you will enjoy Candlewood.

A short layout that requires accuracy to compensate for the lack of distance.

Matt, was an excellent host and starter. The golf course was very fun to play. The greens were fast. However they did have some spots on the greens. The fairways were a little shaggy. Overall the course was a lot of fun to play.

Good course. They are working on the fairways. Good staff. All elevated greens . Tight driving holes. It will test your short and long game

I had a horrible round but thoroughly enjoyed the day cuz I played with a very friendly member. When I told him that I was from Hawaii, he started to ask me about about Hawaii. He told me he has been to Hawaii many times. He showed me a golf towel from Kiele on the island of Kauai. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus. I told him that we used to play at Kiele on many of our class reunions. Told jonathan that I was born on the island of Kauai.
