Great afternoon round
Course called the day before to move our time up 40 minutes which was great. Pace of play was great finished round in just under 4 hours and only waited on one hole for the group in front of us. Course conditions were good and the greens were running a bit on the fast side. Would definitely return to play here again.
Beautiful course, great condition!
Was very impressed with the conditions of this course. Don't be fooled by the short yardage of 5900yds.This course plays much longer with many holes playing uphill. The front is especially difficult most uphill holes and blind shots. The average golfer may be able to reach 6 greens in regulation, but it is a beautiful course and you really should try it.
Thanks Golfnow
The guy at the proshop was awesome, treated my group of 8 like members of the club. I can’t say the same for Cris the guy at the Bar, the young man is very rude and not polite. Overall recommend this course to everyone in Southern California
Stay away
This course is struggling from under investment in maintenance. Fairways were full of bare spots, the greens were okay and the clubhouse was pretty tired. The entire course is laid out in too small of a footprint with very little course guidance on the card or course (yardage info was non-existent). A mower carelessly shredded one of my drives before I could get to it. It was definitely not worth the forty minute drive (or $64) to play.
Slower by the weeks
It is getting very slow playing this course. I understand it is mixed of club members and outside guests these days. They really need to have marshal on the course now.
Great Conditions on a Very Windy Day.
Course was in great condition except for the palm fronds on the ground from today’s extreme winds. Greens were fast. Staff was very friendly.
Very fast pace today, finished in about 3 hours. Winds kept players away so we had the course to ourselves.
RUDE AND INCONSIDERATE!
Course and greens are challenging and in good condition. This course allows fivesomes and sixsomes which makes playing a round of golf ridiculously slow. After our round of golf my friend and I stopped by the clubhouse for food and drinks. The moment we walked in the good old boys club stared us down as though we were aliens from another planet. As we walked by them I could hear them snickering like little school girls. I have never visited a place where it’s made very obvious that non-members are not welcomed. As we sat at a table waiting for our order a male server asked us to remove our hats my friend and I looked at each other, and I said, REALLY, in an astonished tone. Being cognizant that it’s a private club and there are rules and a dress code that is enforced my male friend immediately removed his hat, as for me, I told the server that I have to first visit the ladies room to fix my hair because I surely wasn’t prepared to have to remove my (bucket) hat. Some time had past when a female server brought us our food, I asked her if the hat removal applied to ladies as well in which she responded that it does not and that the male server wasn’t aware of this and Indicated that she advised him of this. All the while, the male server was standing a few feet away listening to our conversation. At the very least he should have had common sense and consideration to apologize for the inconvenience he put me through. Needless to say we won’t be spending our money at this establishment again.
Nice little track.
My first time playing here. Overall, the greens and fairways were pretty well kept. Greens were rolling pretty fast, which is normal around this area. Some of these holes are very memorable, too. Hole #5 is a challenging dog leg right Par 5 that is 560 yards. If you don't fade the ball then you will be stuck in the other fairway. Saw at least 3 players hit the other fairway because it's not long. The #10 143 yard par 3 is gorgeous. The back of the green resides pine trees (I think) and the sun kept peaking thru the trees. Reminded me of the CBS footage you see of The Masters. Finishing hole #18 is a grip and rip type of hole. Only plays 281 yards, but it is uphill. Had about 30 yard pitch left. Great finishing hole.
Finished 18 holes in about 4 hours and 20 minutes. Not bad pace, but could have been faster if the people in front of me played ready golf. My only complaint is the price. $45 is pretty steep for a 12:10pm tee time on a Thursday. I say $35 is more reasonable. This course compares to say Indian Hills or Jurupa which is only $15-$25 hot deal and is maintained similar. Even though the price is sort of high, I definitely recommend this course. Also, you should get some candy in the snack shop.
For the price! Best course in the area!!
Make sure you’re in the fairway or you will pay the price!! Rough is on the longer side, with the morning dew in the grass it’s tough to find your ball. Greens are soft and receptive. Stay below the hole.
Fantastic course!
Had a wonderful experience playing this course. Nice course layout and views with very, very tricky greens provide a great challenge for a strong player.
One unfortunate incident was just that a few groups seemed to jump in front of us when we made the turn. After a perfect front nine with almost no waiting, we turned the corner and had 2 very slow groups suddenly on number 10 in front of us. IMO this kind of thing really shouldn't happen and led to a much less enjoyable back nine.
Nice place
Nice fairways, better greens, and challenging approaches.
Not worth it
The reviews of this course are misleading. Tee boxes are mixtures of grasses . The greens seem to be dying as well throughout the course. We had issues looking for certain holes as nothing is marked. The staff was very snobby and that made the overall experience worse. I would avoid this course. For a "Private" course it is poorly maintained.
