Always a Treat

Greens are always well kept and fast bordering diabolical at times. No cash accepted anywhere so keep that in mind. Not a course you need to bomb drives at stressing more on shot placement...though bombing it does help. Iron play and putting is paramount. Enjoy!

Great course —- Super slow foursome in front of us!

A four hot round turned into a 5 hour round! PAINFUL!!!

Slow moving older gent! But worse! A 60 year old beginner who should not have been on full length course until he gets lessons! Excruciatingly Painful! Fortunately, o was with my girlfriend! So, we just tried to enjoy the day!

Similar problems the last round we played here. We were stuck behind another group of super slow older gents!

But, it’s a really challenging layout with lots of trees and mild elevation changes!

Try to play this course as often as I can. A beautiful course with mature trees. A little slow today, probably because it was a Friday and everyone wanting to get before Super Bowl Sunday.

First time at Candlewood, Staff was friendly and helpful. Greens were in great shape. Water features come into play on several holes and course knowledge is important..

Greens can be tricky, you need to be below the flagstick on several holes to minimize the speed.

Overall it was an enjoyable day!

Great Course!

Course is always in great condition. Today, however, #17 there was some course construction happening. It did not deter from a great day.

Pro shop staff always very friendly and welcoming. Course maintenance staff always friendly as well.

One of the best places to play in the southland. Good pace today, played as a single, very little waiting.
