Love this course

They didn’t get all around five stars, because they had punched the green a few weeks prior. I believe that in a couple of weeks it’s going to be a great value for any golfer to play at least once

Nice Course/Tough Rough

This is a beautiful private Country Club that occasionally opens up tee times to the public.

It is typically kept up with fast challenging greens.

My complaint(s) about our latest round is the fairways were kinda chewed up and the rough was ridiculously long. The fairways are fairly tight so it wasn’t easy staying out of the rough. Everyone struggled to advance the ball with any distance out of it.

I do recommend this course if you can get on!

Great Day at Candlewood!

We played today and it was a perfect day. We were able to play in 3 hours with no one in front of us or behind (that we could see). The course was in perfect condition from tee box to green. Staff in pro shop was very friendly and course maintenance workers always say hi or asks how we’re playing.

What a well kept secret hidden in the city here. Beautiful corse. Well maintained. The greens are tough but it was a enjoyable round of golf. I highly recommend this course

Pace of play

Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. I had to jump around different holes just to get in 13 holes. Unbelievable for a “private” course. I will not be back.

Nice Facility

This was my 1st time playing Candlewood. It was easy to find the entrance and the parking lot is close to the clubhouse and driving range. The mostly mats range is clearly marked for yardages and has an "irons only" area and a longer section for woods/driver. The course is very green, plays tight, not particularly long, and has good elevation changes. Greens are true and fast. I went out in the early afternoon and finished quickly. I would like to put the course in my rotation.
