Golfer Reviews
Fun course
We played at 7:00 a.m.with a GolfNow special. It was just light enough to see the ball when we started. The course is vey scenic and has a lot of water features. I would play again. The negatives were that it was wet and there are a lot of weeds in the fairways. The greens were great..
Course is in terrible condition
Probably the worst course conditions I’ve experienced ever on a golf course. Tee boxes, fairways, hazards all in terrible shape, a few of the greens were decent but that’s it.
Paired up with another twosome they allowed to walk and share a set of clubs.
The food at the restaurant was better than the course! Won’t be going back, do not recommend.
A golf gem in the Napa Valley
If you are looking for a public golf course in the
Napa Valley, I recommend Vintners in Yountville over
Kennedy or Chardonnay for the quality of the fairways and greens. The course layout is a challenge for all levels of golf. Even though it’s an executive 9 hole course, the pace of play is fast and time for an another go around. A major plus is the grill and bar with excellent food, service and a great selection of wines and beers
Napa golf!
Vintners is an excellent alternative to Kennedy or Chardonnay golf in the Napa Valley. It’s a fun and challenging experience for all levels of golfers. Although it’s only 9 holes, the pace is quick and easy to get 18 holes in a second go around. The clubhouse bar and diner is old school and excellent staff and service is the best
First time
I had a nice round, albeit slow, and found the course to be enough of a challenge to make me want to come back. The young man in the pro shop was kind enough to find me out on the putting green to tell me that I could tee off 30 minutes earlier than my tee time and that meant that I could play by myself. A win/win!
Great nine hole
I will definitely have recommended my friends play this course, in fact, they have played the course of me quite a few times.
Now that I live in San Rosa and not Napa, I still drive over to Yountville to play this course even though there’s lots of courses around Santa Rosa.
My family and myself have often enjoyed the restaurant On the golf course for lunch breakfast as well as drinks. Vintners Golf course is definitely a hidden gym in the valley
Overall good great experience, the greens were great. Except for the green on #8, it had a lot of poop from the geese. The greens on the tee boxes need some work. Other than that, if you want to play a quick 9 in Napa, it worth the money.
Vintners
One of my favorite local courses to play. Staff is always kind, the course conditions were good, easy course to walk (no steep hills), my only wish is that they would improve the sand bunkers.
