Nice fun course for most levels
We had a hot deal on GN and never heard of this course but for the deal what could we lose. We got to the course and the staff was very welcoming..we started before our tee time due to being open. The course has open fairways and most of the bunkers were in the fairway and not too many green side. The bunkers were a 10/10 all of them were raked soft sand that gave you no excuse to hit a bad shot. These traps were the best traps I have seen in a couple of years except for very high end courses. The greens were very inviting and were rolling very smooth at a great consistent pace. The wind is the equalizer for better than average players if you’re a 10 or under it will probably not be challenging enough for you. I play to a 10 and my friends are very green but I had a great time because I’m about the experience with my friends and enjoying the day more than anything. My play felt like an 83-85 and I shoot a 78 hole on this par 71. I will play here again...
Forrrrre
Watch your head. Golf balls flying all over the place.
Stupidly designed and poorly marked, make shift 18 holes. Gave up after 12th.
Quite a dump...
course conditions
cart paths excellent, greens good and terribly fast, sand traps in good shape, fairways almost no grass and worst I have ever seen, almost like playing off a dirt course
Layout
Enjoyed the golf course. A fun and challenging layout. Nice scenery and practice facilities. Staff was very friendly. Only drawback was the pace of play. Otherwise a good value for the money.
OK Course for the Desert
Overall, this was a good course and a fun outing. I went with a friend and we had a good time. I usually play 88-92 on most courses and stayed the same for this one. Pros: The water hazards were beautiful with geese to view also. The tee boxes were mostly flat and the fairways looked quite good also for a course in the desert. Everyone we met on the course was very friendly. Cons: The greens were unusually soggy and very poorly maintained by previous golfers that had left pitch marks all over them. The course seems to be squeezed tightly into a smaller than desirable area. This led to most of the fairways running parallel to each other which led to a lot of waiting for someone to clear your fairway when they weren't even playing the same hole as you. This is also, not a true 18 hole course. It is a 12 hole course and you can play the first 6 holes again to get to 18. I am not in favor of that.
Overall it was a fun outing. We were fortunate to get a deal on the GolfNow app and only paid $31 each for our round. On their website, it says they charge $45 per round. At that price, I would have to say that it isn't worth it.
Beginner course
Greens, fairways, and bunkers are in plus shape especially the greens. Only 12 holes which makes 13-18 dreadfully slow as you restart on 1. I will not play again but if novice golfer that doesn’t hit it long or straight it’s ideal. I didn’t need half my irons.
Nice round
Course was in good condition. Very pleasant round. Greens in great shape. Price was fantastic.
Bargain basement golf course
Well what more can I say ! It's basically the dollar tree of golf!
Great blt o yeah ! The butter on the toasted bread was game changer and made me play like a young jack Nicklaus!
Could have done with a extra a few holes maybe 6 just to round it to 18. Just throwing some ideas out there
No teas on the driving range ment I was using my game time teas.
Maybe some more speed on carts please
Also the was a weird bird chasing us on the course, I dint mind but my mate was scared
Only 6 holes open, Over seeding other 12 had to play 3x did not know until on site. 40 minute ride
Fun course
The course wasn't too bad and a good way to spend the day. However, there were only 6 holes open, so we played those 4 times each. Luckily, we never had to wait long between 6 hole replay. Hard to rate course with only 6 holes.
Nice course
Course is at a higher elevation than Palm Springs which makes it very pleasant on hotter days. Also allows for a later tee time. Unfortunately they were reseeding which left only 6 out of 12 holes open so we played 3x6. Look forward to coming back and playing the whole course when everything is back opened up. All ‘n all a very pleasant place to spend the afternoon.
Good value
15 degrees cooler than PS. Only 6 of 12 were open that said You could probably play as much as you want. We played 6 from tips- 6 from blues and last 6 half and half. A good place to work on your skills. Greens were in good shape soft and true unfortunately there are some that still need a lesson in repairing divots. Good sand in the traps. Fairways a little thin almost links style.
High desert golf
Course has a total of 12 holes of which 6 were in process of being reseeded. Therefore played front 6 three times. Would have liked to do all 12 as the back 6 looked interesting. Greens were a bit rough and some traps had very hard sand. Could play the front 6 as much as we wanted, price reasonable. Will go back when all 12 holes open.
Best course to play in summertime
The options are limited in the summertime in the desert becauses it's simply too hot to play. This course is n the high desert so it's 10-15 degrees cooler than palm springs. The course is fun as always but beware they tend to overwater the course and there are several spots of mucky water-soaked fairway, leading to a mud flinging divot.
Great value, great day.
Really enjoyed the round here and we will definitely be back. Staff in the pro shop and restaurant were friendly and accommodating. Fairways had some rough spots but they were still very playable. Greens were in great condition. Got an "early bird " rate which really made it a super value.!
