Bracing coolish morning round.
Almost cold but staff made things great. Love the course.
Nice course
Cool course layout, just didn’t have enough carts. Pushed back our 12:30 tee time almost 45 minutes to wait for carts to come back. Friendly staff, fun course, will be back.
fun
sunny day but cold ... try it in the spring.
Fun.
Fun Track
I would give the course a 3 and 1/2 rating if it was an option, just not quite a 4.
A fun day with the wives.
Definitely worth the drive from PS
Frugle
Unfortunately the day was not perfect a bit cool. Staff were very friendly, odd layout but I did not know what to expect for a 12 hole course.people who play there need to learn how to fix divot marks. It was fun.
Temperature
Sadly, it was too cold to play at elevation in January.
The overseeding doesn’t compare to courses in the Coachella Valley.
The layout is interesting and the choices for tee grounds is very good.
It would be a fine choice in warmer weather and worth the trip from Palm Springs.
High desert
Fairly interesting course, not long but fun. Pretty good value for the money. Very friendly staff, a bit of a drive from Palm Springs but with the price of golf in PS not a bad alternative.
Refund
We paid for 4 players but only 3 showed up. Can I get a refund for the 4th?
Great for the money!
This course is great! You're paying small course rates for essentially 18 holes. Yes, this course has 12 holes so to play 18 you go back to the first 6. I actually love this because I don't have to play the full 18 if I don't want to. The greens are well kept albeit a little wet during winter, but still way better than most places I've been. Considering this is a desert course that's pretty impressive. I live out here and can barely keep my yard green. The fairways are wide and open so it's great for beginner to intermediate play. It's a smaller course, but it doesn't feel small. You can still break out your driver plenty and the layout is pretty decent. I've made this my regular practice course and I love it! The staff is friendly and as long as you aren't going out on a Saturday or Sunday you aren't feeling rushed. In fact, the last 3 games I played I hardly saw anyone. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to play for fun or for some good practice. If you're looking for a challenge then go to Palm Springs or Indio to some of the larger courses.
