Hawk's Landing Golf Course

Went exploring out of Palm Desert. Friendly pro shop staff Marc & very knowledgeable. Being at higher altitude, would suggest layering golf clothes. Pace was good & great restaurant food.

Would go again & do 18 holes versus 12 holes. My wife having sprained her ankle was impressed by the staff's concerned for her ankle issue.

For the price this was about right. Pace of play was a bit slow, especially on the last 6 to finish off the 18. Some fairways and some greens were fairly rough, but again, for the price it was average value. I would recommend that for those playin 18, that if less than a foursome they be matched with an appropriate twosome to improve pace of play…

I Love this course…..nothing fancy just always a fun and challenging course. Pro shop and Roosr Restaurant staff are always friendly and the food is excellent ! The course is under construction on a few greens but the layout is easy to walk and not too difficult for beginners but challenging enough for low handicappers. Highly recommend playing…….

Honestly we have not expected a good course in the far distance of Yucca Valley but Very glad to play this special course. My family and I have really enjoyed this course !

Tee was like the fescue. The grass was tall!!

I did not have a driver that day so I had issues hitting of the tee (still shot 2 under par)

Greens were slow too. However, Lovely staff and decent driving range but not a premium course. Most holes are also similar.

I’ve played this course a number of times, although there are only 12 holes and to complete a full 18 holes, one needs to return to 1 thru 6.

Even with that, I, we rather, really enjoy this course.

Great value. It plays slow at times and gets crowded because you play the first 6 again to complete 18. Other than that it is a solid course, maintained well, greens are decent, and staff is friendly. Course is easy.

Great value and friendly staff! Greens are well taken care of as well as fairways and tee boxes given it’s right in the middle of summer. Weekdays and late weekend afternoons are least busy. Usually can finish 18 holes here in less than 2 hrs.

Fun course with a very friendly staff. Players on the course were courteous and polite as well. Also great Bloody Marys and breakfast burritos! This is my new weekend course of choice.

First, this is a 12 hole golf course with two 6-hole loops. When you finish the 12th, you play 1 through 6 to complete your 18. This course was by far the best maintained course I have played in years. I didn't have a bad lie all day and the bunkers were well groomed. Greens were smooth and receptive and undulating. Normally, I suggest playing the white tees, but here the blue tees are a good choice with a slope of 115.
