Towne Lake Hills Golf Club

Course was wet and cart path only which can be a little frustrating, but the pace of play was smooth and the weather was great.

I was wondering if I could get a full 18 holes because we didn’t get to play the full 18 at Towne Lake Hills golf course yesterday because of weather conditions bad storms and they closed the golf course down and everybody had to go home

The layout of the course was very enjoyable. I wouldn’t say it’s easy or very hard either, just need the right shot at the right time. Greens rolled very well

The course was in impeccable condition.

It is very forgiving with its wide fairways and large greens but it suits my talent level perfectly. Tee boxes and greens were in excellent shape. A most enjoyable place to play.

Town Lake is a good golf course with a challenging layout. Staff is both friendly and professional.

Over all fairways are in good shape and the greens are slowly returning to form after the spring plugging and top dressing . Greens are not fast this time of year and tend to show more break than actual.

Play was fairly slow today as ‘ready to play’ golf was not exhibited by the foursome in front of us . Have played several times at this course and have noted fairly slow play. (Partially due to ‘trouble ‘ areas off most tees and the lack of ready to play capabilities

I have been to towne lake quite a few times over the past year or so because we moved into the neighborhood and I can basically walk to the club house. Now I never really had an complaints against my experience until recently. More specifically after I came back out after the covid measures were in place we have experienced mutliple mishaps. Im not sure if the course changed management but there is a totally different feel. Before covid this was one of the most chill courses in the area. You could go out and have a good time. But in the last few times playing the course the starter has been very rude and inconsiderate (I never saw him before the covid 19). The first incident we had with him was our first time back out after quarantine. Me and my buddy had been vigilant to quarantine because we have kids and older parents. Well they grouped us with 2 strangers so obviously we were a bit taken back (bc no one mentioned it). So we went to the starter to ask if we could just go ahead of the 2 strangers they were trying to group us with. He was very rigid and would not budge. Then i came to play early in the am one morning and we literally pulled up to the starter 1 minute late for out tee time. Instead of saying hey guys good morning or something else cordial and starter like he looked at us and basically just started yelling at us about how we better hurry up because there were multiple groups waiting on us etc. First off it is not our fault you are going to overbook the course that early. Secondly we were a 2 some and had no problem staying ahead of everyone all day. Then that same day we finaly saw a cart girl around 13 or 14. She literally didnt even slow down to see if we wanted to grab anything. She just put her head down and zoomed by. Couldnt believe it really. Lastly my buddy lost 2 of his clubs on the course that day and we didnt retrieve them. So I called up the next day and the gentleman on the phone confirmed they were in the clubhouse. I went a day or two later to grab them and somehow they had dissappeared (ie an employee took them). I told the gentleman in the clubhouse that I had called up and they had them before. He didnt really even apologize, just took my number and I never heard anything more about the 2 stolen clubs. It is unfortunate because this course is so close to me but I will not play this course again until the customer service changes for the patrons.

Worst pace of play. Rangers did not keep things moving. Waited 10-15 minutes between shots. Will not be back. Too many other courses in the area that are better managed.

Enjoyed the course. Good greens, fairways. Pace of play was good. Staff friendly helpful. We were able to complete our round despite rain forecast

The greens are the best in the area. The course is in the best shape I’ve seen it in years. It was always in great shape but they’ve taken it to the next level.

Have played here several times. Has always been a good experience.

Terrific elevation changes, challenging but fair layout. Greens were six-speed, teesrough and fairways were solid. Definately coming back

Real cool layout super staff especially Mark and Shawn..cant wait til it fully greens up its right on the verge!

Played the previous week and came back. Nice course. Will challenge you.
