Love the course
They are still building so no facilities like clubhouse but there are places in the area to eat. Some of the tee boxes are close to the greens so be careful. My golfpad app doesn't pull up yardages so you have to rely on the cart's GPS which was excellent. Cart girl does provide refreshing drinks. They also have a driving range and separate chipping and putting greens
Good New course
Course has improved since I last played it 5 months ago. Still undergoing growing pains. Should be great course in year or two. Staff operating our of temporary facilities.
Don't drink the water
Don't drink the water out of the coolers unless you like hose water. Yes I grew up on hose water, but this is bad. Course is getting better, keep it up.

Course is new and great. Staff very nice. They move pace of play along very well.
A new course
When you pull up the club house guys helped with our clubs They helped with ice n were very friendly. The club house is not yet ready...But inside was the golf pro n workers Who were very pleasant n did assist with the purchase of a new blouse for the wife. On the course I believe her name was Kelly n she was super helpful... Helping out with drinks n ice she made my wife feel welcome on the course..On a very hot day she was incredible.. Thank you.
still new
the people were great ,small holes on greens, the layout was ok..
Pace of play
Some of the slowest players I've ever seen on a golf course. Would love to see rangers on the course keeping up the pace!! Other than that it's a great course. 2nd time that the greens were aireatted in 2 months is a bit much, but the free voucher offered was a nice gesture.
Nice resort course layout
This is a typical resort style golf course with five sets of tees, so low handicap, high handicap and no handicap golfers can enjoy. As this is a new course, there’s no clubhouse and a lot of constructions going on nearby greens are big and relatively fast.
Great course
Welles Park is one of the best semi private course in Sarasota. They are still working on clubhouse but the course was amazing. Very forgiving. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. The driving range is a water driving range which is interesting but you hit off real grass which is refreshing. Kelly kept us hydrated all day and the gps enabled screens and the charging port on the golf cart were great. I highly recommend this course.
good deal
The course is in great shape. They use the course. to sell houses. 18 holes with cart and driving range included. golf pass hot deal the price was good compared to other courses in the area.
Nice course but too gimmicky.
Play the scores for the first time last weekend. I saw that it had really good reviews on GolfNow, so I was interested in checking it out. Once on the course, I discovered that a lot of the holes are too many gimmicks, and Outabounds comes up very fast and short which means that when they build houses this is going to be a tight course. I think they should. We can figure some of the holes to make it more enjoyable. Needless to say, I won’t be back to play this course for I have so many nice courses in the Bradenton area.
