Overrated
Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews ! The course opened 2 months ago and for a new course the condition is pretty good. No pro shop ( traler ) no refreshments. It is very poorly designed ! Not a course I would ever want to play regularly!
Under construction
Great brand new golf course but heavy construction building homes on every hole. Machines and nail guns running all day with no regard. Prices should reflect the distractions which is not the case.
New Course
There are no amenities yet as the clubhouse is being built. The cost relative to this time of year and comparing to other courses isn't the best ROI. I was disappointed at the condition of the greens. Perhaps when construction is done I'll give it another chance but there's just so many other golf courses that have far more interesting course layouts.
New Course
A new course in good condition. Several poorly designed holes. Holes 5-6 - someone putting on 5 could get hit from a tee shot on 6. Hole 16 is a sharp dog leg with a blind tee shot if you are cutting the corner. Lennar probably did not give the designer enough room.
Can't Wait to See it in a Year
The course is amazing overall. There are a couple wonky holes that because of the construction everywhere, it's hard to get sight lines, but that will come with time. Greens are in great shape - hard and fast. Definitely need to know your distances b/c they're not very receptive right now due to a lack of rain. It was also pretty windy which added an additional challenge and lack of spin on the greens.
Great course! Definitely play it!
Would not go back
Course layout boring. Sand in bunkers much too heavy to play from. Waited on every shot. Repeated attempts to contact staff while playing ignored. Greens rock hard and would not hold any approach shot. In short, a terrible experience
The course was in great condition, will definitely be back.
Fairways and greens in great shape
Course for being new in excellent shape. I understand course still being built so no real clubhouse or 19th hole available. Would play again
Best course in the area without amenities
Golf course is in great condition and was an awesome day paired up with Josh and Greg.. We had a great time..Cart girl was awesome and came around at least 3 times during our round…Kudos to Kelly
New Course
Played Wellen Park for the first time on the 17th. I was very surprised at how nice the course was. It was well maintained, also the layout was great. The greens were hard, but if you played them for that you were fine. Really enjoyed playing there, as did my playing companions. Will definitely play it again.
Course conditions excellent!
Nice course layout! Greens were true and very good condition! Pace of play allowed us to finish in less than four hours! Would suggest drinking water at a few holes! Especially if temperatures rise! Would definitely play again at this rate! Great value!

Course is great. Better than most in the area. I thought it was fairly easy. Not a lot of torture holes. Around the course are homes being built so it’s not too picturesque, but will be. Great staff, practical range. Only negative was my Garmin watch and other golf apps don’t recognize the course so bring a range finder. The carts have GPS but I swear they were read a little long I flew a couple greens. The GolfNow off season price of $49 is a good deal. In season over $100, I’d never pay
