About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Greens are rolling really goof
Course is in good shape, good value, and the bunkers and greens are kept in great shape also.
Great course AWFUL pace
I love this course and hopefully a one off but i am so disappointed at the pace Friday afternoon around 1pm. I have never been a course where there are THREE groups waiting at one tee box. This happened multiple times yesterday. Its ironic because the carts tell you that you are pacing behind and a marshall may ask you to skip a hole. WHERE IS THE MARSHALL?!!?!?!?

Tee time put forward due to saving time issues
Due to the day light saving time, the pro shop and the starter let us play ahead of the starting time. There are quite a number of sand bunkers guarding the green which’s great challenge. We love this course.
Course is in great shape
Haven’t played Peacock in awhile since the last time the course was in horrible shape and dealt with a 5+hr round. Played on Saturday and the course was in terrific condition for the most part. Played early and had a 4 hr round so no complaints. No cart person though. Definitely a recommend.
Bring your bug spray!
Great course to play greens and traps very well maintained. Drink cart available to quench your thirst. Tons of mosquitoes even sprayed I got dozens of bites.
Fun golf day
This course needs fairway hit every drive, there are pretty much trees on both sides of fairway, some of the holes were guarded by a long creek, that needs perfect layup.
Overall
I do like this course but there are some men that are quite a bully to women. My ball was outside the green prior to a group of men playing in a parallel hole. One of them came to me and made a snarty remark that I should not pitch until his partner teed off! I recall on many occasions how men laugh loudly and we really do not say anything since we are all just want to have a fun golf day! I did apologize and he went on which is uncalled for!
