About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Course is in great shape
I really enjoy PG, especially when the freens are rolling like they are right now, not "fast", but smooth and def fair.
5hr Sat AM round is standard un the Bay Area for a public course, so bo real complaints there.
Keep it up PG, a fair, short and fun course. Good value.
Hated the layout
If you draw the ball you may like it but probably not. Also the charge amusement park prices. A small water that is .79 at the store was 3.50. Don’t forget your water bottle.
Excellent course peacock gap
Third time playing this course. This time playing with wind conditions. A little more challenging this time. Should have a early tee time with no wind.
Condition of course was in very good shape with the greens rolling nice and smooth. Very nice grass practice area (driving range/putting & chipping greens). Challenging layout that can be very difficult on a windy day. Was stuck behind a walking foursome that left after 9, but pace of play was managed with a Marshall especially for a Sunday round! I'll definitely be coming back!
Talk about a hole-in-one
When a round of golf goes exactly as expected and the course conditions surpass your expectations for the price it doesn’t get much better than that. Showed up, pro shop gentleman was super friendly and knowledgeable. Every hole had pristine greens which were fairly challenging to read. Layout is forgiving yet tricky at times. I love it when there are high risk-reward tee shots and there were quite a few here. Tee to green I was satisfied throughout my round. Checked back in with the pro shop to provide positive feedback following my round, and I rarely do so but it was a necessary action in this situation. I’ll be back to “The Gap!”
I highly recommend checking out the golf course right now - it's in the best condition I've ever seen! The greens are absolutely immaculate, and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for the perfect place to play a round of golf, don't walk - run to this course!
5.5 hours for 18 holes
This course is always slow because they pack tee times too close together and marshaling is nonexistent. Plan on 4.5 hours minimum. But this day was next-level -- we started on time at 1:30 and ended at 7:00, waiting on every single hole. Twosome with us left after 14 holes to get home before dark. Other groups bailed on last several holes, opting to replay initial holes so they could at least get some golf in.
Great course and fun times!
Paired up with a couple of nice guys. It was a good round for me. Definitely will come back!
