Peacock Gap Golf Club
About
Peacock Gap Golf Club extends along the shores of San Pablo Bay, but it sits inland enough to avoid the fogginess of the coast and enjoy consistently sunny weather throughout the year. The course's layout has undergone many renovations over the years that have brought it to its current playability, including a new drainage system, new tee boxes, a reshaping of five of the greens, and relocation of bunkers. The golf course kept the classic features of its original layout though, such as the inviting fairways that still provide a challenge and the tricky greens that deceptively extend past where the player thinks they end. In addition to the course, Peacock Gap has also improved their practice facilities over the years. There is an all-grass driving range, two large practice greens, and a chipping green.

Course is great but needs a proactive marshall
The group ahead of us were clearly beginners but we're playing from the back tees and acting like they were on the Tour instead of playing Ready Golf. A marshall touring the course is needed to stop these antics and keep pace of play as stated on the golf carts.
Stop the geese
Bring back the shiny flags on the 16th green. Too many turds.
A True Gem in Marin County
Peacock Gap is nestled in coastal hills and features a great layout offering challenges for every level of golfer. Greens were in near perfect condition and the course is now relatively firm. Bunkers are very well maintained. Staff are friendly and the restaurant /bar features a great menu as well as live entertainment on certain days.
Nice course
A nice course! Great value for your money. A good course for all levels. Not too difficult and not too easy! Good course to walk. I always meet nice people and have a good time at Peacock!
Great deal!
A wonderful course! Very affordable and a nice layout! The course is in great shape! A little windy but that is Peacock in the afternoon!
I shall return!
Nice course!
Nice course! Good times and good people.
It does not look tough but when the wind blows, the difficulty increases! You WILL lose balls in the rough! Also, the tidal ditches don,t look like a problem but land anywhere close and they will steal your ball too!
Poor Management
Carts kept freezing up and only worked backwards on Friday 10, 2024. This situation made the round of golf very unpleasant.
When we finished the round I and several other golfers approached the pro shop and asked for some consideration for our inconvenience.
To quote the person in the pro shop "Not my problem" As it turned out the pro took over the conversation and blamed the Sun.
Anyone who has ever been in the service industry, and yes, golf is a service industry, when anyone or a group of people are unhappy with the service an apology is offered at a minimum.
A $10 rain check, a free golf ball, or even a bag of tees would go a long way to retain repeat golfers.
Shame on the management for zero response.
There are plenty of other golf courses in Marin to choose from. Going forward , Peacock Gap will not be one of them for me.
