Greens are in bad shape
Overall the course needs maintenance especially the greens
Ball marks are not repaired
I'm sorry that the course was not up to your expectations. We have made an effort to repair as many ball marks as we can on the greens and I understand that criticism. However, I would have to disagree about your description about the condition of the course. I hope that you'll give us another chance soon as the course is in great shape right now. Have a great day!

Ball marks on greens
Course was in best condition in a while, just need golfers to repair ball marks on greens…..

It was golf
Great course to play for your first time this year. The greens were recently aerated so...give another week or so.

Great East Bay Local Course
This is a solid local track in the East Bay and has quickly become one of my favorites. Like others have mentioned, the pace of play can be tough on the weekends. So I choose to play during the weekdays and it's a nice pace. The course is in fairly good shape given the amount of rain we've gotten this season. It drains well and the greens are always kept in good condition. Once twilight prices hit, this is a hard deal to beat. ~$35-40 to walk (very walkable - good exercise). Not too difficult, there are a few longer Par 4's that are cut by a ravine of sorts which makes the 2nd shot long. I play here once a week and will continue to do so!

Pace of play on weekends is one of our main concerns this spring, which is why we have increased our intervals between tee times and extended coverage by our marshals. Fun park course, needs some work.
Staff was friendly, pace of play was decent for a Friday morning round. Fairways are overgrown and rough is out of control on some holes. Greens are a little rough but bunkers were in good condition.
Thanks for playing our course Friday! As I'm sure you're aware, we have been receiving exceptional amounts of rain this winter season which has impacted our regular mowing schedule. We expect things to return to normal going forward. Our greens will also be in their best shape after we aerate next week! Great Round today
The course was super wet but to be expected. First tee time of the day and it was our pace.!
Nothing better than getting that first tee time of the day! Nothing but open course and green grass in front of you... Also, we appreciate you starting the day off at a great pace! As the course dries out, it will only get better. Hope to see you back soon!
Marshals are required
Marshals are needed to maintain the pace of play and the prevention of the stupid things that can occur when there’s no supervision. Had to cut my round short due to darkness and the very slow pace. As I was driving in, came upon 8 guys playing as a group. They were all over a fairway. That was the cause of the very slow play.
on the mend
Course was severely flooded during our recent heavy winter rains this past December/January. Fairways have recovered to average winter standards. Tee boxes in poor shape, greens are getting better daily, they have been cut short and are fast by winter standards. A couple of months from now, should be back to very good . Good value, pace of play slow like most public courses in the bay area.
Course was in better shape, starting to dry out. Greens have a lot of marks and bumps and littered with pebbles from bunkers. Assuming they will be aerated soon.
