Awful day of golf. Avoid at all costs
Played on Sunday. Staff completely rude and disengaged. I walk in and staff is having a convo about gambling. Annoyed I was there.
Course is a cow pasture. Goose poop everywhere. No trees. Boring 18. Would never come here again.
Why Did I Stay For a 5+ Hour Round?
If I hadn't purchased a cart and had a friend riding in it, I would have quit playing after the front 9. The Marshal said he talked with the 4some in front of us about being slow and to let our 3some through on the 7th hole. He also said his shift was over. They never did, and if anything kept the pace of play slower than ever by leaving clubs on or near the green and then while their buddies were on the next tee box, to ran back on to the green to pick up the clubs they'd forgotten.
course conditions
The course conditions were good. The greens were a little inconsistent.
Some f the sand traps were very wet. Don’t recall getting any rain!
Allowing 5 some play the course and group not keeping up with a 2 some in front them was irritating.

Too Slow A Pace At Mid-Day
While the marshal drove around the course until about 1 p.m., he never did increase the pace of play. There were 3 groups of young men spending more time talking and smoking port than golfing.

We have a 0-tolerance policy for any pot smoking on our course. We would have been happy to take care of that issue when it happened if you got in touch with the pro shop. Sorry to hear about the wet sandtraps. I'll look into this and see if there was any irrigation issue. Our policy is that we do not allow 5somes.
