Impressive staff
I thought it was good to play even in a heat wave hoping there were not many players. Yes it was but too hot. I asked kindly the staff for a rain check of the back9 after I finished front9, he kindly helped me to get it. Impressed. Shout out for the staff. Thank you.

Some other course might try to steal these guys.
I’ve played this course since 1988. Never have I seen the greens as in good of shape as yesterday.
I’m telling ya B. You and your guys are showing your work.
The rating is based on municipal courses. Great job. If ya had a full food service (great) and a Pool with a clubhouse. You would have gotten 5
Staff is awesome. All issues always handled politely. Good Job.
Keep fighting for the money to improve.
Looks like golfers might finally be getting it and helping a bit. But the greens sure looked to me like Management is paying attention

Great community GC but
Nice community GC. Fun to play, nice hole design. Need an education or note from the staff when the beginner players do the checkin on the pace. There will be many young and kid players (and parents) who do not mind the pace and other players behind.

A fun and challenging course at a great price.
This was my first time at SRGC, and I was very impressed. The grounds are in good shape and all holes require skill to make par. All the greens were fast, with lots of fall-offs so that if you overshoot the pin, your ball is off and running! Hole 9 was the most challenging, since it has an "island" green (very easy to lose your pitches from across the water on that one). I also liked the way the holes meander all over the neighborhood. You'll get to see a lot of San Ramon while playing. Overall, a lot of fun.
