Over zealous marshal
I was playing with a handicap flag when Sam Puckett marshal schooled me about the don’ts which sounded like I didn’t have a flag at all.
He followed me for three holes hounding me and just totally ruined my day. I felt like he really was wearing a badge short of packing a holster.
I am nursing a six month old knee replacement and just trying to get back into swing of things and enjoy a round of golf.
I am not surprised at how there’s more players in the course with the treatment one is subjected to.
Course need lots of work
The course needs TLC and a lot of
It, too many leaves in fairways and on the greens, very easy to loose golf balls under leaves. Greens are very slow due to not been cut.
Pace of play could be better
Fairways and greens were very good but the rough remains brutal. Pace of play would be greatly improved with shorter rough. A lot of time is lost looking for balls just off the fairway. Keep the ball in the fairway and you will have a great time.

This course is always challenging in great shape great scenery and some of the best food I've tasted at a golf course You have to try the fish and the chicken and the pork chops everything is excellent

Great public course
Great play , friendly staff. The other golfers were also friendly, respectful of each players skills but helped to kept the pace of play good.

Great Value
For $45 can’t beat this course, great greens, all but one of the tee boxes were in pristine condition. Friendly staff.

Tough Rough
Very good conditions overall, but the rough is a killer. While the rough just off the fairways is only about 3" high, it is dense but the ball falls down to the turf, which makes the ball very hard to find. Looking for balls just off the fairway probably adds 30+ minutes to the round. If the rough were cut to about 2", the problem would be solved. Keep the ball in the fairway and you'll have a great time.

Decent Coues for $$$
First time playing this course the fairways were in average condition. Most of the holes had tree lines which gave the image of narrow fairways. Keep your ball in the fairway if not your going to have trouble either finding your ball or losing it. The tee boxes were in terrible condition need improvement on every hole really bad. Overall had a great time met another golfer we played together had a nice round.

Course in very good condition when it doesn’t rain. They have to fix drainage system .

Excellent conditions but tough rough
The course has made a lot of improvements over the past several years to the point where it has now become a surprisingly very good public golf course. The only blemishes are the cart paths and some areas adjacent to the cart paths. Expect excellent greens and fairways, but stay out of the rough. If you find your ball in the rough, you will have a very demanding shot just to get back to the fairway or onto the green. Hit straight shots and enjoy!
