Woodmont Golf & Country Club

Several of us thoroughly enjoy playing Woodmont.. it would be my primary go to course if it were not a private club.

Also wish they offered more tee times at better times for non members.

Now that the club is owned by the same group that owns Bradshaw, Farms, hopefully there will be some special exceptions made for those folks.

Everyone on this side of town owe it to themselves to play it.

Wide open fairways with idyllic surroundings. Friendly and welcoming staff. The course Marshall was especially friendly. This course is thoughtfully designed and well maintained. Great pace of play.

Have always loved playing this course, but I was sadly surprised at the poor shape the greens were in 1 month after being aerated. Aeration holes still very evident which affected putting. I won't be back anytime soon.

When you punch the greens, you either let people know or you don’t let anyone play when they are that awful. It was impossible to put. For those of us that work hard to get on the green in regulation to then be punished by 3-5 puts is absolute crap. On top of it, to charge $75 when your greens are crap is beyond ludicrous.

If you think the practice green is what the greens on the course are like, you will be beyond disappointed as the greens or nothing like the putting green.

Really nice course. Challenging layout. Great condition. Only two minor complaints ... no GPS in carts and cart girl was nowhere to be found. Minor stuff ... otherwise the course is top notch.

The course failed to advise that the greens were punched yet they still charge a premium green fee. However, I did re-tee at a discount but only once I pressured the golf shop staff.

Best course I have played this winter. Fairways were in great shape for this time of year. Greens had just been aerated and top dressed so weren't so good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course layout is challenging for every level of player. Lots of traps and some water.

Starter advised greens had been aerated week before. When I made my reservation, there was no aerification alert provided by the course.

I would not have purchased a tee time had I been properly informed.

Very disappointed

Drove an hour because the course looks amazing, and it was good but they aerated all greens 2 weeks ago and they haven't recovered at all. Putting was an absolute lost cause, and it was pretty disappointing because the course is beautiful and in amazing condition everywhere else. They made us go out as 5 and there were a couple of other fivesomes out there so pace was slow at the turn, but it got better after a few holes. Fun design, tough back 9 -- like to play again when I can actually putt
