Woodmont Golf & Country Club

The course was in vey poor condition coming out of winter. The tee boxes were full of weeds and Sandy. Fairways were patchy and greens were punched and bumpy. Overall I don’t think it was worth the price I paid and now since everyone is charging the ‘inflation’ surcharge, I suppose this is normal.

Woodmont is one of my favorite courses in the area. But we have had a lot of rain and a cooler early Spring. So the course was wet and the greens had been punched.

I always recommend the course, just need to be aware of course conditions.

Beautiful golf course! Greens were aerified and sanded heavily, so putting was a challenge. Most fairways were in great shape, except a couple on the back 9. Bunkers looked immaculate. A really good golf course!

The aeration really caused a great round from happening...I will be back in a few weeks for sure!

No one told me, and there was no mention that the greens had been recently air rated. Very poor customer service. Should have made me aware of this. I would have waited to play.

This was my first time to play this course and I was very impressed with the layout. The staff was very courteous and extremely attentive. The only disappointment was that the greens had just been aerated so the putting experience was a challenge to be kind. I look forward to playing in later in the year when the conditions are prime.

Probably would have played anyway but should let us know about greens having just been aerified and sanded. Great layout though.

Woodmont is always a good place to play. Greens and bunkers are on good shape. Fairways are starting to show spring growth and should fill in soon. Pace if play was z little slow but course was packed.

Course generally played well and was well manicured. Driving range was closed, which made for a tough front 9. That would have been good to know prior to arriving.

Well worth the hot deal. Friendly staff. Not a flat putt out there but great layout. Good variety of holes.

Compared to all other courses played this winter the fairways have thicker "carpets" than other courses, so there were fewer shots that had to be played from bare winter lies, especially around the greens. The greens were medium fast, which made putting reasonable instead of impossible. The biggest problem was the inability to read the greens -- expected breaking putts went straight and expected straight putts broke. All in all, it was a pleasure playing this course. It's worth the trip to get there.

Sunday round was not a great experience this time with 2 fivesomes playing ahead of us, the one in front playing loud music and yelling at each other. Slow play. No marshaling. Poor golf etiquette .

Fairways were bare in many places. Greens were good and fast.
