Great shape
GA women’s Am qualification was just there and the course shows it. Greens were a touch slow but probably due to letting the bent grass take a break in the heat. Great course

Best public course in the area
Woodmont is one of the courses I play frequently. It’s challenging and always in good condition. The pace of play is good and I usually finish the round in +/- 4 hours. It’s more expensive than others in the area but worth it.

Starter forced 4 strangers to condense into 2 carts on a Wednesday after 1pm. Round was awkward and completely unnecessary.

Hopefully not the last time...
This was my first time playing Woodmont, but hopefully not my last. There is activity underway to take the club private, so it may not be available to the public at some point. The club championship is being held this weekend, so the course was primed and readied - the rough was up and the greens were quick. The sand is white and fluffy which is a welcome change over many other local courses. Overall, the conditions were excellent, even with all the rain we've had lately. Even with it being Cart Path Only, it was an enjoyable round and one that made me want to come back.
