Woodmont Golf & Country Club

This is my preferred course to play. I hope it never goes fully private. The course is always in top-notch condition. The greens are still recovering from being aerated and there are a few struggling patches here and there. And as other people have mentioned, a lot of players don't bother repairing their ball marks on the greens. I always repair 3-4 ball marks on every green. The layout does have some rolling fairway and elevation challenges but they are not outrageous and can be played without undue and unfair penalties for being in the fairway.

Finally…a course that I could play every day in the Atlanta area. 4.9 stars. Only deduction comes from greens that its members clearly don’t like to fix ball marks on. Real shame. You could make a mile of putts here if it weren’t for the mini pot bunkers. Fantastic layout, conditions, pace of play, F&B, staff, carts, clubhouse, range…all top notch for the money. Highly recommend. Bring a spare divot tool.

Gotten a little pricey but who hasn’t. Got a voucher for free food and a beer. What a great deal that we didn’t expect.

… Woodmont is a great course for the money. Even more so if you’re able to play during the week or in the evenings. The course is worth every dollar when the round is $49/$59 compared to other local courses charging $80/$90 for very comparable conditions.

Tee boxes that are in good shape, fairways look good and are wide, many approach shots that require a great shot over water or some other obstacle, and the greens were moving nice. As a semi-private course it’s great, but expect the greens to be slightly beat up from players who don’t clean up their ball marks - SMH!

Woodmont was in great shape. Must have just been mowed as fairways were excellent. Couple of greens had a few small bare spots. Only.drawback to the course, they don't offer a Senior rate grren fee as other courses do in the area.

Well maintained course. Drought conditions, so the course was dry and firm but still very playable. The group in front was walking so pace 4:45 was just a bit slow even though we didn't stop at the turn.

I look forward to playing here again.

First time playing WCC, a well kept secret in Canton. Everything was top notch - Tee Boxes. Fairways, Greens….fantastic experience, will definitely be back!

The course is well maintained with a friendly staff. The greens are fast and true. Love the scenic layout. Would recommend it to friends and family.

Woodmont is an awesome course at an incredible price point compared to others in the area. The course is in good condition, abundance of water stations and bathrooms throughout the course, and the newly renovated clubhouse offers a great dinning experience after the round. Highly recommend avid golfers checking out the course!

Have played this course multiple times. Conditions stay good as long as people repair their ball marks. Gets a lot of play but it's a good layout with only a couple of holes that are a little gimmicky. Great overall round though. Staff and amenities are great.

The course is nice and the staff is great! The highlight for me is how they treat my kids when I take them with me. My son is nine and really wants to get involved in this sport. The staff and other golfers seem so happy to see my kids out there. They have all taken the time to stop and give tell him how happy they are to have him out there!
