Woodmont Golf & Country Club

I have had the chance to play several courses this summer; and Woodmont is "hands down" in the best condition I've seen it; making it one of the best courses North of Atlanta. The staff is super friendly, the cart is making its rounds... and the course is manicured... great tee boxes, superb fairways and the greens roll true!

I live in the Tampa area and have played all over the state of FL at some of the nicest courses in the state. I went to GA to visit family and was told I had to check out Woodmont by a local pro in the Tampa area. This was probably the nicest, best designed, most fun courses I have ever played. Staff was SUPER friendly and the course was immaculate. Excellent variety of holes. I will play this course every time I go to GA guaranteed!

Nice layout with lots of scoring opportunities given the 5 par 3's and 5 par 5's. Greens were in excellent shape, as was the rest of the course. Always enjoy playing this course.

You can't over analyze the situation when there is rain drops pouring down on you. The one thing that I noticed is the course drained well mainly after the four days of rain that we have had. This is a great course, you need to hit straight and long off the tee and you are good to go.

We've have a ridiculous amount of rain and the course took it all. Perfect greens as usual. Probably the best public greens in Atlanta. Fantastic layout - only RTJ Jr course in the area. Great risk/reward. Good long holes, elevation changes and 3s. one of the best in the north side of the city. Top it off, the staff is a professional as they come.

Got rained out at the 9th green, so didn't get to see the back 9. If they are anything like the front, then a great course. Can't wait to go back and play the entire round.

Good fun course, could be challenging. I hate hole number 13. You will see why when you play this well maintained course.
You need to keep the ball in the fairway.

We enjoyed the Woodmont course a lot. The fairways and greens were in great condition. The course is very challenging, but fun to play. It makes you use all your clubs, and all different shot shapes. All in all, a great course.

Woodmont continues to be one of the best golf courses and values in the metro Atlanta market. The fairways and greens were in excellent shape and the course, as always, is challenging. I highly recommend it to all.

Woodmont is consistently one of the best daily fee courses in the North Metro area. Conditions on 6-21-13 were very good. Fairways and rough were very well maintained and greens were true-but not overly fast. Combine all this with great rates on Golfnow and it's very tough to beat. The Grill has great food as well.

Woodmont is a gem. A well-designed course, combining challenging-but-fair golf holes with excellent playing conditions. The fairways and greens were in outstanding condition and the pace of play was good. Great mix of holes, particularly on the back 9 with 3 par 3s, 4s and 5s. A treat to play and a great value!

I booked a tee time for my father and I to enjoy a round for Father's Day. My dad hadn't played there in 10 years, but said it was a good course back then and worth playing again. The facility was great (e.g. bag drop, plenty of parking, club house, practice area, etc.). The course was challenging, throughout the round, with small landing areas, small greens, and sand traps strategically placed. The fairways and rough were well groomed, and the greens read very nicely. The ranger coming around with cold towels was an added bonus considering it was a scorching day. I haven't made a tee time to play Woodmont again, but I am counting down the days till I play there again.

I have been playing Woodmont for over 8 years. Great layout, every hole presents a different challenge. Fair, yet will test all aspects of your game. Super friendly staff.
I highly recommend adding Woodmont to your rotation!

Well laid out course that is in good shape. The green also were in good shape.

This course is great. Par 72 with more par 5's and 3's than a normal par 72 course, which I loved. The course was well maintained and the greens rolled true. Challenging but scoreable. Will be back soon!

Course is in excellent condition, provides a good variety of holes, green is top condition.

A really good track very playable. Beautiful scenery. Good pace. Good value for the money. Excellent in every way.

$73 seemed a little over the top. I was entertaining and had spoken so highly of Woodmont I booked the time anyway. But we always have a good time and the course is always in good shape. The staff as always was very accommodating.

This was the first time I've played Woodmont in a while. The course is in great shape. The course played difficult because of the wind but overall a nice golfing experience.
