Woodmont Golf & Country Club

Played the Friday before Labor Day. Though the course was pretty busy, the course played reasonably fast...we still finished in 4 1/2 hours and that included a couple of cart girl refills. Tee boxes and fairways were in super shape. Greens were rolling a little slower than I would like, but the roll was at least true. Even the bunkers were in good shape. All in all a very enjoyable round.

I give this course 7/10. Not as good as bridgemill but way better than fairways of canton

It's a little far out from Roswell but it is a very challenging course and it's fun to play. The staff is great and welcomed us like we were members.

It was awesome. it was also amazing the general manager loaded the prices in on golf now and 2 of us played 18 holes with a cart for $4.24 total 4 two. yea I think he made a bit of a mistake. I found out that 12 other golfers besides us got the same deal before they caught it and changed it. They were very nice honoring this mistake and I hope the others that cashed in on the deal will return as I will and I also have played there many times in the past. Thanks GM for the nice brake and we will see you again soon. golflefty

Great course layout that is challenging but in a good way.
Three par 3's and three par 5's on the back nine was a pleasant twist.

Only issue is that I fixed at least 3 divots on each hole. Shame people don't repair their ball marks, and on some holes it really shows. Other than that the green were in good shape, with nice undulations

Normally don't play Woodmont over other Canton-area courses such as Callahan or Towne Lakes due to price, but for less than $30 an excellent value.

Played on a sunny day; course was in very good condition, pace moved along nicely. Challenging yet not unforgiving, lots of fairway to target.

Great clubhouse staff. We had to leave after 16 holes because we were waiting 5-minutes on every shot. Had we finished, it would have likely been a 5-hour round!

Probably the best looking course in Cherokee County.
Staff is super friendly on the course and make it a pleasure
to play there.

The course was VERY wet when I played it. The condition of the course was excellent, and a fun layout. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Nice Track overall which could be 4 Star by changing out bentgrass greens ( current conditions are good.). Nice staff, decent value.

I have always loved Woodmont Golf Club but it was especially lush and green with all the rain we have been getting in Atlanta. The employees were very friendly from the ck-in at Pro Shop, starter, cart lady and snack bar which enhanced our overall experience with the golf. The course gives you such a challenge with a serene environment of quiet hills, trees, creeks and lakes. The greens could have had better maintenance on the ball marks, but despite our 15-minute downpour of rain delay, we had a very enjoyable day!!

The course is in good shape. Water will come into play in quite a few holes. All of the holes are straight--no doglegs. Many of the holes slope L to R. View a miniaturized layout of the course ahead of time in the clubhouse and pay attention to the starter's advice--both are helpful.

Challenging very good condition despite all the rain we were at 90 degrees on back nine after 5 1/2 inches of rain less than 24 hrs prior. All good at Woodmont

Great value for this beautiful course. Always in great shape, worth the few minutes extra drive from Bradshaw.

In itself, Woodmont is a fantastic course. Challenging layout and visually pleasing. The course is well maintained with pleasant staff. Can't really ask for more in a golf course.

Great course and layout. One of my favorites in Atlanta

This is a favorite course I love to play. Tee to greens is excellent shape. It's always gonna happen some time though. The course puts two very young golfers out walking who have no regard for pace of play. No Marshalls on the course. Thursday afternoon should not take over 4 1/2 hours to play. Our 4 some waited on these guys every hole. A marshall should be around at least every hour or so.

Nice course which is in good shape with the exception of some of the sand traps...need attention. Part of problem may be the lack of raking by some patrons.
Also had the problem of excessive slow play on the back side...I believe they were starting groups on the back as well.

greens were sanded, coupled by rain they were miserable. Could not finish 7 holes. I traded barbs with management course should be closed for repair. Seniors o plenty, every hole dual groups.. The course has very slow play not worth the drive or misery. I lost a day of vacation, time and effort. Fight on. 6700 course from tips, too short for players and too hard for novice. Equals slow play.
