Woodmont Golf & Country Club

The course was very well kept. Greens were perfect, and the staff was very attentive. I can't wait to play there again.

The course was in great shape and was fun to play. It was a haul for us to get there but well worth it. The starter however treated us like hackers showing up to Augusta on Master's Sunday. His attitude gave us a bad taste in our mouth to start but the course made up for it.

Everything very nice. Not an easy course. Nice layout and course design. Very nice staff.
Only thing which was not OK: We had a flight with 5(!!) players in front of us (probably handicap 150) and they did not let us thru.
Other than that GREAT!!

Greens are in the best shape of the year and rolling great.

I love to play at Woodmont. Evertytime I have played here the course has been in great shape. The greens are in fantastic shape, especially for the time of year. Sand boxes,which non of us likes to be in, were soft and very well taken care of. Unfortunately the wind was gusting around 40 mph so made for an even tougher round. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Not only staff were so unfriendly but also the members I played with were so rude and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Woodmont is an interesting design, and a fun course to play, the course of choice for me in the north Atlanta suburbs. I drive down from Ellijay on a regular basis to play this course, have never been disappointed in anything but my score, which unfortunately isn't the course's fault.

it was a classic RTJ design and it felt like we were playing an 80 year old golf course. i would reccomend this golf course to anyone. enjoy!

This is by far one of the best(if not the best) courses I've booked via GolfNow. Great condition on and off the course. The pace of play was very well managed. Fairways and greens were awesome!

This is a very enjoyable and very challenging course that is in good shape. I will go back again.

I love playing this course, especially the back 9. Great holes on the back side, variety great, makes you think about every shot. I was disappointed in the conditions, mostly the poor greens. They we so bumpy and uneven, patches of grass, could not even roll a 3 foot put straight. Was not a day you could score well just due to the greens. This was one of the worst conditions I have ever seen at this course.

Also, playing Sunday afternoon, had to let two separate singles play through and one two-some. Why do they let out singles at 2 PM in the afternoon. Did not make sense.

The course played like a private course, very good for low handicappers, challenging greens and fairways. Due to the long drive and $$$ it gets and average rating. They should have more specials, lower rates.

It was a real pleasure to play this course. The greens were absolutely excellent and the overall course extremely well maintained. The feel and atmosphere of an exclusive private country club.

Woodmont is a beautiful course and provides a good challenge. Maintenance was great and greens were in good shape. 7/10 I would say. I plan to be back!

I am not a member of any club but like to play a variety of courses in the North Atlanta area. However, Woodmont is probably my favorite non private course in North Georgia. It is a beautiful layout with open fairways and shots that challenge and reward, but are not too punitive. The Course is always in terrific shape as it is exceptionally well maintained. The greens are usually quick but true. This last time we played 4 days post Fall aereation so it wasn't fair to assess them in that condition. While Woodmont is a bit on the pricey side, it is always a great time.

Like the course and can score but keep GIR high to do so on elevated greens ....good fairways and greens, good value if catch afternoon discount on golf now...recommended

Fun course especially back 9, conditions always good. It sometimes gets crowded in the afternoon staff easy, polite hve enjoyed everytime I've played there.

I have played Woodmont three times in the year that I have lived in the Atlanta area. Every time I go I am impressed with the friendliness of the staff, especially the starters/marshals on the course. Course conditions are unbelievable. Pristine. Course is gorgeous, tough but playable. 5 stars, 2 thumbs up. Favorite course I've played in Georgia.

You won't get tired of playing this course.....the layout is challenging regardless of the tees you play. An excellent course for both sexes, the young, and seniors!
