Excellent
Excellent course. Obviously excellent supt. clubhouse retail items very good. Carts in good shape. Consistent value for the dollar.
Great conditions and wide open course.
Wide fairways that will let the novice golfer feel good about their game but enough challenges for the serious golfer. Course is well maintained with a friendly staff. No water in play on the course except for hole 15. Bunkers do come into play on several holes but accurate shots will kepp you out of them. Play the course every other week so that speaks for itself.
My favorite of the GolfNow courses I've played!
This is my favorite GolfNow course. It's not a difficult course, and it's fun to play. I definitely will be back here!
Very good course to play
This is a very good course to play in particular for if you are new to the area and are looking for somewhere to play for the first time. The staff were very friendly and the course has a good balance between challenge and forgiveness.
Fun course!
Love this course! Not the most challenging course but fun no doubt.
Excellent
Have played famous courses at $$$$$$$ more not better condition than this. A+++++++
Maintained Well !
It's a little pricey but Golfnow is the best way to play for the buck!
Great Course!!!!
I love this golf course! It is a good and fun course to play! Greens put nice and hold shots.
My brother and I played two days and loved it!! Open with great views and in great shape.
My brother and I played two days and loved it!! Open with great views and in great shape. We will pay this course next time we are in the area.
Very good course for the price!
Course had gotten lots of rain, but drains really well. Hidden in the North GA mountains, but worth the drive and the cost was great. Staff was very friendly and pace was very fast.
Great Course
This course was very challenging. The Fairways and Greens were in great shape. Shot placement is key on many of the holes. Elevated tee boxes and greens add to the challenge. Fun Fun Fun
A really well maintained straight forward golf course built over rolling hills with wide fairways and accessible greens.
A really nice pro shop and practice area highlight this golf facility of a county leisure style resort seemingly nowhere near anywhere. A straight forward design over north Georgia rolling hills with wide fairways, accessible greens, little rough, several bunkers, large mature trees and no real water hazards. The front nine is the shorter and easier of the two nines and starts with a reachable par five and ends with a reachable par four. The back nine has three long par fours and the par three #15 has two sets of blue (back) tees from which to play. The front is approximately 139 yards as shown on the score card with the back measuring approximately 175 yards to an elevated green. The course is really well maintained but probably doesn't offer enough of a challenge for the more advanced golfer looking for a solid test of golf.
Great fairways
Very nice course lay out. Fairways in great shape. The greens run very true. Good variation in length of holes. Will play it again.
Relaxing, fun course.
A relaxing, fun course to play, especially for the less than skilled, although it does present some subtle challenges. The Course Rating, and Slope numbers tell the tale. Most fairways feature some laterally sloping contours, while most greens exhibit a variety of deceptively subtle contours. However, as the Slope numbers suggest, the course is not punitive: generally wide open, and if you miss, you can usually find your ball and play out of trouble. We drive down from western North Carolina from time to time, for a refreshing break from our tight, punitive mountain tracks -- and always enjoy the experience.
Great Course
Very friendly staff. Course was very well maintained. Greens were a little fast but rolled really true. A course you can score on. Will be returning to play again.
Good Value On Golfnow
Purchased a Hot Tee Time deal for Apple Mountain after hearing a recommendation from staff at another course. Found the course to be fun but not particularly difficult. The layout is very simple. The addition of water hazards would definitely add to the course in regards to challenge and aesthetics. The highlight of the course would be the consistency of the greens from one hole to the next. Something much rarer when playing closer to the city. The gentleman in the shop was extremely friendly.
The course was in excellent condition
The course was not crowded and has a very nice hilly layout
