Great 9 hole course
This course is a great 9 hole course with some challenging holes that make it well worth your time. If you're into courses with hills and long fairways this is the place for you. This place is right near the airport, so on holes 5-7, planes fly right over you which is unique and make for cool pictures. The staff was super friendly and incredibly welcoming and accommodating.
Slow pace
Pace of play was very slow but understandably so as it was a two hour ice delay. Even so the starter didn’t start golfers on different holes as he should have to speed up pace of play. Overall a nice course and I would play it again.
Good quick game
This was a nice course kinda tight but I’m still a rookie. It was booked up so we had two groups ahead of us waiting and a group behind us waiting. Wasnt bad tho. Course was in decent shape. Overall I had a. Good experience.
over booking
I enjoy this course, but we waited in line for 20 or so minutes to tee off at the first hole. There were 3 groups ahead of us and 2 behind us. You found yourself rushing and picking up your ball because you could always see someone behind you waiting to play. Then you would get to the next tee and have to wait.
I will still play this course again, but I hope this review will encourage them to not overbook.
Neighborhood Course!!!
If your looking for friendly and neighborly play...this is the course! Grab a few friends head out and enjoy the day at a reasonable rate! Be prepared for a slow pace as the yardage isn’t long. Overall, good course with excellent staff and clean, friendly service!
Family feel golf
Loved the chill golf “family” atmosphere, nice staff and a smoker going outside to grab a bite. Golf at its simplest form and not trying to be anything but a great place to get some golf in.
Course has come a long way as far as the fairways and greens than 5 years ago a gem that needs attention from county and state officials as do 2 other closed courses(Durham lakes and south wind) all 3 cores are minority communities which has been over looked for too many years which would greatly improve quality of life and increase tax revenue for local government WAKE up
