Royal Lakes Golf & Country Club

The course is in generally poor condition and the greens are in terrible condition. They are aerated, but also every green has bare/dead spots that cover 20-40% of the area. I have enjoyed the course in the past, so hope they can fix these issue.

Used to love this course. The layout and staff are still great; however, the greens are in tough tough shape. Not worth $60.

I really like to play this course. Each hole has its own character. I wish that the greens were in better shape, but the fairways and tee boxes were pretty good.

This is a beautifully designed course: rolling hills, great water hazards, etc. Unfortunately the course is in very poor shape. The greens were covered with black spots that would cause your ball to deviate, the cut grass was left in the fairway (my ball managed to find a clump of mud and grass that had been cut and left, stopping my ball before the green). It was sad to see. So much potential yet such poor maintenance. The cost for 9-holes was close to a better courses 18 holes. I expected more and was disappointed. The staff were friendly though.

Clearly mismanaged somehow as clearly a fungus has overtaken and mostly ruin the green surfaces. This will hurt your play here and over time the courses revenues.

Evidently, they use fairly stagnant water from the many lakes onsite that are full of fertilizer and chemicals.

Management / owners need to resolve this as it seems to be an ongoing issue for the past 2-3 years. This could be a premiere course. Fix and manage the greens!! Don't make

excuses.

I feel bad for this golf course. They are super friendly and have a neat layout, they lost their greens. There are large brown patches all over every green. Additionally, we had 3 groups on the tee at #12. Played the front in just under 2 hours, but the back was painfully long. I won’t return. There are better courses in the area.

To be fair, tee boxes and traps are in good shape.

Course is in fair condition, greens are ok but could be much better. Sand bunker are as bad as I have ever seen, one was nothing but red clay. Great cart girl, came by often. Played with three great gentlemen, will give them another try soon. Give them a try.

If people would just simply fix their ball marks and one other this course would be in great shape, great track

You can tell that the staff works really hard to keep everything in great shape. Really nice course with a very challenging layout.

Not a bad day. Just hot. Course needs rain like everything else. Greens seem to be coming along.
