Course conditions
Paying 50 plus dollars for a round of golf course conditions and pace of play was terrible. There were times I considered not completing the round. Couldn’t really use irons or wedges the ground was like concrete. I’d pay 10 extra dollars and just play mount vintage or bartam.
Great Value
Some repairs are needed. Regardless, the greens roll true and it’s a great value. Enjoyable track with super friendly staff!
Good value for what you get
I had a great time playing. The front desk person was little off putting but the staff outside was very accommodating. I played the front 9 and came to a traffic jam starting on the 10th. So I replayed the front 9. Finished in less 4 hours.
Crowded much? This ain’t social hour fellas it’s a golf course, play golf
I’ve played this course at least 50 times… never have I had to wait 30 minutes a hole while a bunch of guys lollygag in front of me and a dozen others holding up the whole course 1 man to a cart 3 carts meanwhile the back half of the 9 is wide open. What’s the point of a Marshall if he’s not enforcing at least half-respectable golf etiquette. I’m not asking for the world for $30-40 bucks but that’s the last time we’ll be back.
Fair price
Had a tee time, showed up 15 minutes early and was told to wait in line at the first tee. Took 30 minutes to tee off. Lots of sand. Guy near us playing golf had dog running around off leash (could have been service animal but no vest)
Another guy started peeling at the tee box(not against a tree) in front of ladies. I know that guy isn’t the courses fault but just a bad experience
Maybe the Nicest Staff in Golf
I’ve played at Pointe South whenever I get to east Georgia to visit family. From the very first time thru yesterday, the staff has always been super nice! They were working on making the cart paths smoother yesterday to get ready for spring. Hurricanes and tree growth took a toll on them making a touch ride in some areas. Some of the fairways need a little work, but tough to judge how much better they will look after this series of Polar Vortex finishes the winterization of all of us. Greens are in good shape minus a couple of rough spots as the edge of a couple of them.
Good course for the price
Awsome experience except for the wind but hey that’s golf
Great value
Not the best course in the CSRA but best one for the money.
