Great course.

The Island was great but the Lake was horrible. It was cart path only. We saw people ahead of us riding in the fairway so we called. We were told that it should not be cart path only and they would switch it off Imgur our cart. That did not work so these 2 older gents had a lot of walking; that was not fun. We should get a few round or at least a free 9.

You are generally very accommodating.

Almost Augusta National

We played the Pines to Island layout and other than one hole (which needs some attention) the fairways and greens were in good condition. The greens were a little slow but hurricane Debby precluded them being cut. We enjoyed the courses as they provided a good test of golf. Long par 4's reasonable par 5's and scenic par 3's.

Except for not having all the flowers and flowering trees like Augusta, with the tall pines creeks and lakes its a very close second.

It's on Fort Eisenhower military base so make sure to check in at Gate 6 for a background check and Gate pass. It takes a while to get it.

We will play it again if we are back in the area

Course I've played many times, it's in great condition right now. Greens are just about completely recovered from aeration. Bunkers are being repaired soon will be back to it's full glory. Great place to play.
