Really Nice Country Course
Wide, well grassed fairways and very good general upkeep make this course one of my favorites. Great Bang for the Buck!
A personal favorite
Always love a day out at applewood. Low cost but more well taken care of than some of the other courses that you can play for the same $ amount. Always worth the drive. Staff has always been kind and truly cares about their course and their guests who visit it.

Pre Masters Round
Found Applewood available prior to our round at the Masters … cost was amazingly reasonable as compared other facilities within driving distance … course conditions were very good and the course was reasonably challenging … we would play this course again if we are in the Augusta area again

Great course on our way to Masters
We had no idea what to expect but this place was easy and wide open. Just what we needed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pace of play was pretty slow but didn’t bother us as we were just happy to get a Saturday afternoon out.
Great country golf course.
A short drive from Augusta, almost to Waynesboro, but worth the time. Applewood is a relaxed, have fun, without judgement, kind of golf course. For the value, the fairways are good and the greens can be tricky. The clubhouse has a surprisingly good pro shop and the food is simple and satisfying.

Extremely crowded. Played 1st 9 holes then headed out due to waiting too much.

Great value, forgiving course
Fun course to play if you can avoid the morning leagues. No ranger so anything goes. Sometimes you’ll catch up to a five some or more and they won’t let anyone through, so you have no option but to wait or go around.

I liked it.
Everyone was super friendly. Met some of the old heads, the people that have been there since the beginning. Everyone was incredibly nice and motivating after I told them I've only played a few months.
Diana and Tina were amazingly helpful. Got my range membership set up and happily answered any questions I had. Obviously going back for the range but definitely going back for the people and golf.
I will say the course right now is a bit tough to play for me. Just had tons of rain so it was just hard to get under my ball, but I have no doubt it will be better come spring. Looking forward to it, actually.

Really nice Country Course
The weather was a little cool and damp but the course drains pretty well. The course has a lot of wide fairways that are kept in good shape and fairly challenging greens that are in good shape as well. Excellent course for the money and well worth the drive!
