Great Value
Large tournament slowed pace but was still very playable. Staff is excellent. Very friendly.
Fun Course
Had a great time playing this course. Back 9 has some fun holes where you can cut off some ponds if you want to risk it. Conditions were good besides a few spots on some greens. Overall a great course.
Great confidence course
I played Applewood a few times more than a decade ago and I remember having good experiences. This weekend I remember why I recall such god experiences; the wide fairways alone are worth the price of admission. There are almost no bad spots on the course, you can make a play from most positions.
I haven't had much confidence on most courses that I play but I felt right at home here. I'll be back soon!

Poor Course Management
I have played this course and have always had a great experience. This particular time was an awful time because they allowed 5 or more players in a group and anyone knows that you do not do this at all on a weekend. Not only did they have large groups playing together but when I called the pro shop to see about getting a marshal out there to tell the group of 5 in front of us that apparently came out to play golf for the first time, they told me that the marshal had went home for the day. Needless to say, we had to experience that misery for a few more holes until we jumped in the front of them while they were in the bathroom. I love this course but after my experience yesterday I am not sure I will make the trip out there again.
We apologize for the negative experience you had due to our oversight in group sizes and the absence of our marshal; your feedback is essential for us to improve. Thank you for sharing, and we hope to provide a much better experience should you choose to visit us again.
Getting there
Great pace of play. Food was great but greens are a little bumpy from aeration.

Course conditions were decent for this time of year. Some greens needed work but most were good and they all rolled well in areas not damaged.
