About
Collins Hills Golf Club is a little known course to outsiders, but it is a local favorite. The traditional parkland layout tumbles across a rolling terrain. The golf course features small, undulating greens and narrows fairways bordered by towering trees. The layout demands accuracy especially with the numerous sand bunkers that have been incorporated into the design. Several ponds and lakes are scattered across the course, coming into play on seven holes. The layout has its challenges but it is still gentle enough to accommodate a variety of different skill levels. Before playing, golfers can warm up on the driving range or utilize the other practice facilities. Collins Hills Golf Club's atmosphere definitely plays a role in the club's popularity, offering all of the amenities of a private club with a casual and friendly setting

Collins Hill Golf
I play this course often due to its easy proximity in Lawrenceville Ga. close to I-85 and hwy 316. Several years ago it was run down and I stopped playing it, but the new ownership has done a great job in bringing the course back to life. The course is not long, but has many challenging holes to keep it interesting. Greens are in great shape, as well as fairways. The inside and outside staff are great, snack bar is limited. Facilities are good with driving range, big putting green, and a chipping area. The price is always excellent! If you have not golfed there in several years...give it a chance...you will be pleasantly surprised!
Greens need work
If you are a boomer you will like this course, but you better have a short game. Some holes are hard, others are real easy. I like the course layout.
Great Shape (Possibility for slow play)
Course and greens in good shape. Slow players in front not calling you to play through. Had to ask if I could hit through and thery agreed, other wise a 3.5 hour round would have been impossible. Need to have marshalls out pushing faster and corteous play by all.
This course has tough lies, but great value.
Course is fairly well maintained, not a long drive. Pace is fair to quick. Very challenging.
Poor Ranger control
Waited numerous times, up ten minutes to hit because a scramble group of 6 players were all together and the ranger did nothing but tell us they played fast.
Good local course
A lot of trees and narrow fairway. The green are in the best shape I have seen in years.
