Fantastic course. Greens play true. Very fair test of game.

Love the course, only minor complaint is that it appeared that the first cut off the fairways needed to be cut. Had several shots that I saw the general area where the ball landed within 5-10’ from edge of fairway but could never find the ball as it was so thick and deep. Other than that the course was great and I love playing here.

Not to hard. Greens rolled well. Some elevation changes made it fun.

If I have any gripes it would be in having to hit off mats at the driving range, and a lot of balls from there bin need to be thrown out. The practice green is a lot faster than the course greens by about 2feet.

They do a lot of things right, but course lacks a few very important things,

1: Greens use to be perfect, and although they have done some repairs to some of them there is still rot on many of them making it difficult to Putt.

2: Sand traps are still lacking enough sand to make them reliable..While you have added sand to some some still have grass growing in them and lack sufficient sand.

3. When we played to day there was no water...Extremely hot and humid...

4: Finally the PATHWAYS you drive on are in such bad shape it actually hurts your back hitting the gullys and pour drainage areas.

The course is a beautiful layout, and challenging But when you pay 62.+ dollars to play you expect the items mentioned above to be ADDRESSED..!

I’ve been looking for new courses between Roswell and Athens(I know it’s pretty wide-spread) but when I booked this tee time for about $55-60 I expected the usual course conditions. I was shocked when I actually got to the club and began my round. The pro shop had more options for gloves, clothing, clubs, balls, bags, etc.. I was in and out within a couple minutes although I wanted to stay and shop around. It’s like a miniature PGA superstore. The pace of play started out absolutely ideal. I had nobody behind me and a group of four ahead of me that were playing just fast enough to be heading to the next hole when I rolled up to the tee box. It played pretty smooth throughout the first 7-9 holes but when I went to the grill go get some snacks, a group of 2 had jumped ahead of me which is no big deal considering how the pace of play was. They ended up being slower than the group of four but all in all my round lasted right about 3 and a half hours. The course was beautiful. Way better maintenances than many other, and more expensive, courses I’ve played around the area. The greens had my putting game on an other level. The tee boxes had been kept up with very very well. The bunkers were soft and playable. Overall an absolutely astounding course for the price. I would recommend this course to anyone looking to step up their golf game or anyone who just wants to have a casual weekend outing with some friends. I will definitely be returning and also looking for some membership opportunities. I’ve played the country club of Gwinnett and heritage and Stone Mountain(stonement and lakemont) and many other courses in between and this is by far my overall favorite. Good luck to anyone going out to play I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

This is a wonderful course! For those that say, otherwise, I’m speechless. This course has a very nice layout, clean and level tee boxes, lush fairways, soft greens, beautiful scenery, etc.

I play this course quite often. The staff is courteous and friendly. The clubhouse grill/bar has a great atmosphere, eats, and drinks (I only wish they were open later into the evenings). They offer weekly events to add to the camaraderie. The list goes on and on.

Does this course have its issues at times, of course it does. What course doesn’t. When an issue comes about (e.g., damage to a green) they put in a plan of action to resolve the issue. Does it happen overnight, no it doesn’t. When making repairs; such as, to the greens, it takes time and as Mother Nature intends/allows.

For those that have only played once and may have experienced some bad spots on the course (thus complain about it), come out and play a few more rounds, and you’ll see the corrections being made.

Lastly, Golf Pass has this course listed as not having a driving range. That is not the case. This course does in fact have a driving range. Such info needs to be updated on Golf Pass.

The course is saturated but tee boxes and fairways were ok, however, the greens are in bad shape with some areas unputtable. The afternoon- pay your age is great for college kids.
